To get some of the advertised benefits you need to purchase 3rd party apps. The Hue app itself isn't really that great. The product is okay. I would only recommend the product if you have a specific use in mind. Too much money otherwise for what you get.

I bought the Gen 2 Kit at a great price, but noticed that the greens were very poor. Heard good things about the new Gen 3 bulbs, so I bought this one. As it turns out the greens are much better with these newer bulbs!

Excellent lightening system. Works well, minimum hiccups (mostly if the bridge needs an update). Works well with Amazon Echo and Google Home. Color replication could be better, but heard the third generation fixed that.

Installed and set up in less than 5 minutes. Lights are awesome will get more for the rest of the house. A walk through setting up Siri and all I have to say is "Hey Siri, turn my lights on" and boom. Future. Get it.

I cannot stress enough what a wonderful investment these are. They are not only so much fun but so useful and really can help create the mood for any situation and they have soooo many options and apps to control them with!

I've been happy with the Hue Performance after 2 years of use. The flexibility of turning the lights on and off when I'm at home or away make me feel safe.

Bought this on sale to start my Hue ecosystem. Now Ive expanded to the lightstrips, color bulbs, white bulbs and soon the Hue Go. The kids love the lights and want a Hue Go for their room so bad. Its next on my list.

These are by far the best smart lights available. They pair perfectly with the Google Home and Amazon Echo enabling you to control the lights by voice. Wouldn't ever choose a different brand!

I use this literally everyday. They work fantastically. Works well with other products like apple home and onhub. Definitely a great decorating tool. Also lights up the house better than regular light bulbs.

The Phillip-Hue is a must have. Combined with Audible, I use my Echo and Hue lights to relax and listen to someone read to me while the light is soothing...I love it! If you do not have the Echo, you can still enjoy the Hue lights in many other combinations of apps, music, and your imagination

The lights are great and work as expected. Can create any color of the spectrum. The only issue I have is that I frequently lose connection with the bridge. It may be an issue with my switch but very annoying nonetheless. I can still control them through my Wink app so it still works out.

I LOVE being able to tell Alexa to turn on the lights when I walk in the door, especially if it is dark. However, trying to get the color variations to work has been a headache. If you don't really need or really want it, stay with the plain white and raise or lower it as suites you.

Bought this product because I wanted to add more personality to my drab condo. The product works as advertised I find the Reds and the blues are a little bit better than the greens. Works very well with Siri

I started when this kit and kept adding more lights and switches because they are incredible. They work great with my Google home also. Everything is voice activated! Definitely recommend this product

I was skeptical rather or not I would actually use the color schemes these lights could produce. After buying them and setting up the system, it is awesome. Normal light is non existent to me now...LOL.

Absolutely love these lights, they create a very imaginative and beautiful scenes in the house. Some of the apps are complicated and some cost a little but there is an amazing array of them available.

We have these lights because of my sensitivity to Bright Lights and I love them.I would greatly recommend them to anybody that has sensitivity to light. These lights are great for parties also

I was looking for something different and I found it. It really helps making the mood depending on how your feeling instead of it just being bright all the time. Adds nice touch to different rooms.

Really love these lights. They aren't cheap, but since I'm expecting them to last several years at least, it's more of an investment. Great build quality. Simple to use. Pretty good software.

The lights are awesome and the app works great. I even have Amazon's echo and everything works well together. Took some playing around to get use to but it wasn't bad and was totally worth it
