I bought these to add to my non-colored setup. These are cool and work great. Only thing I've noticed is the blue is not really great. Comes off more as a purple, but it's not a big deal.

I love the Hue system, it integrates well with both Siri and Alexa. I just wish they offered a bulb brighter than 60 watts.

Older generation just means less variety of colors but it’s not that noticeable compared to newer ones

So many options with the philips hue! Got the starter pack with three bulbs and then downloaded an app and was ready for the dance party with all sorts of light effects. Very user friendly.

I love these lights previous review of how the colors are not that deep are true but for the purpose I use it for is good enough for me. I connect to smartthings and Alexa works perfect.

I absolutely adore these light bulbs they make any home look modern. Can also connect to my Hue when I am away from home.

Generation 3 is labeled as Richer Colors. Big improvement. Checkout some YouTube video comparisons against Generation 2.

Easy to install and set up, use it to light up the office before getting there since lights hooked to switch do not work

Haven't used these much yet. Been too lazy to configure port forwarding on my router for advanced functions. Pros so far: Shutting outlet off/on from traditional switch defaults light to normal yellow-white light, so they do not rely on smart features for basic functioning. Seems there is decent API support for 3rd party apps. Cons: Web interface on the smart hub doesn't even include basic management tools and the only officially supported way to manage is via an iOS or Android device. Web/Windows support was expected and wished for.

I had to exchange the product out less than a month from purchase because the bridge simply stopped working. They have yet to perfect good green hues as well, but it's mostly a good item.

Poor alexa intergration. For some reason can not say "Alexa, turn light to a specific color". You can on IFTTT but that is a slower process.

Replaced previous generation hub and added additional bulbs and another strip. Ability to control with Alexa is super cool!

Love the lights, just not impressed with the apps. The box makes you feel the sync with music is part of the apps, it's a third party app that is a extra cost and does not work real well.

Colors are pretty good throughout except green color is a little weak... also not as bright as you would hope. we enjoy it very much and will purchase some more throughout the house

I love Hue lights, and wanted to upgrade my bridge to gen 2 to take advantage of Apple Homekit. I wish I'd known the gen 3 A19s were yet to be released, I'd have waited. That said, migrating to the new bridge was fairly trouble-free, but read up on it before starting because what you do with the old Bridge is important. There's a huge difference in greens and blues in the gen 3 bulbs. I wish I'd waited, purchased a Lightstrip Plus starter, or purchased the new bridge alone. New bulbs will be labeled Richer Colors on the package.

It's very nice item to a solution to control the lights and with the new function that work with Siri is very simple

I've been wanting one of these for a while now. And now that I was able to buy it it's the most amazing experience!!

I now have 36 of these lights and a few dimmers. I could not be happier with how they integrate with Apple Home Kit.

My boyfriend and I enjoy these a lot! Playing music with them is the best because you feel like you are at a concert.
