Works great with IOS and it is great to be able manage lights when you are not home.

These light bulbs are great. In addition to being able to control them with my phone, it's so much fun to change the colors. I can also control them with my Amazon echo, which is really convenient. The system was super easy to set up. I highly recommend them.

I love these lights: I have them linked with my Harmony Remote, my Nest Thermostat, as well as my Xbox One! By the way, you can use your Apple TV to control the lights from your iOS device too: Siri is finally useful!

I love my Hue lights. From the bulbs to the light strips. I have them all over the house. They make setting moods for anything easy and fun. And setting them up to turn on when I come is the best. We never have to enter a dark house again.

A little pricey, but well worth it if your into the "smart home" tech, and enjoy color themed lighting. Hue works well with tons of ios & android apps in a number of ways to keep your home lit. It's simple to set up, maintain, and adjust.

Love the lights. The best part is coming home and lights are programmed to turn on when I pull up and go off when I leave. Make sure you set up the bridge first and then program your lights to the bridge. Their are many 3rd party apps to change colors of lights better than hue app. the hue app even recommends some of them

A little pricey for a light bulb but it has a lot of options, works well with my Amazon Echo and has limitless color options.

These lights are a little pricy however, they are well worth it for our home. Great for the seasonal changes and being an older house with limited switches, makes it easier for control of the lighting without the expensive wiring.

Hue in general is a great quality product! The 2nd generation products are sweet, 3rd gen offers more vivid colors, but at the new lower price, you can't go wrong. All my hue bulbs are 2nd gen and I love them, seemless synchronization and easy setup. Never had a problem and plan to continue purchasing from philips.

We bought this kit for the bedroom and living room to hook up to our Echo Dot. Absolutely love them and cannot imagine living without them now! I now wake up to a soft light that gradually wakes me up instead of a loud obnoxious alarm clock and go to sleep with a gradually dimming light automatically. The fact that I can dim and brighten the room through the phone app is so nice. I've set the lights to turn on when I am approaching home so I never have to come home to a dark house again. I love the fact that I can turn on the lights while away on vacation rather than setting annoying wall timers. If you plan to throw parties, an outside app is the way to go. The colors are much more vivid and festive. Overall very happy with my purchase and I plan to buy more.

This WAS AN IMPULSE BUY; however, no regrets at all. My lights turn on when I pull into the driveway (at night/evening of course.) And I got the color ones, so I got the hue disco app. I now have the option for a rave too!

I bought these lights to setup a Hue network in my bedroom. Figured it was a small enough room to start and see the capabilities of the system. Setup was literally as easy as following the few instructions on the paper and the network was up and running in no time. I have been thrilled since the installation. I already had the Amazon Echo (definitely recommend as a companion if you can get it!!!) so I can't tell you the convenience of talking to and setting your lights. I know it sounds lame but as an IT guy that kind of techy stuff fascinates me. The wake up, sleep, and scenes/customization of the lights is awesome and a few additional apps and I had my room turned into a full on light show in no time!!! Definitely going to be expanding to the rest of the house.
