I used this strip to accent the stair step in my home theater. It works perfectly in this application, and with my HomeKit automations, the lights dim and change color when I set the scene I've created for watching movies.

I use two strips in home, one behind the TV and one on top of our dining room hutch. Does a great job of setting just the right mood. They can be shortened if needed and need a power source as opposed to the Hue light bulbs that just screw into a socket.

I put mine behind my 65 inch samsung to create a subtle glow,looks cool.

Just added this strip light to a shelf. When lit it gives off a great lighting effect

It’s not hard to set up. The lights are somewhat strong, I would like it to be a little more stronger but overall it’s a good product

I hung these light stripes all over the rim of my room, and I love it!! Being able to control the different color lights and being able to dim them. It really added a little more modern feel

This was my 5th purchase of a Hue lightstrip... big fan. Yeah they’re a little pricey compared to others, but you truly get what you pay for with these. Super easy to operate and set up. 5 stars easily.

The hue system is a solid performer with a lot of flexibility. The app, compatibility between Echo, Google, and Apple opens many options that other systems can’t match. I use these for uplights and have been very pleased.

Bought to add accent lighting to my living room. Does the job nice! Used it with Smart Things so there is no need to use Philips Hub.

Highly recommend getting these for your house if you have a smart home.

Strip is very bright. Placed behind my computer monitor at home. It could be the wall behind the monitor giving the effect of brightness, however. HUE sync software is awesome when playing a game or watching a video.

It is just as described and you can get very creative with this product

We bought this for our four year old as a nightlight and for reading in bed. He is on the lower bunk and this light makes it easy to see when reading to him. It also has a night light mode in hue app and can be used with Alexa

Set these up behind my TV and love the aftermath! Couldnt ask for a better product!

I bought the hue starter light kit.I loved the kit so much I'm using I decided to buy the light strip. It works great. Love the fact that I can run it in a schedule and have the light strip a different color when I need it to be. Going to buy more for sure.

Although i have 2 of these, the pricing on this is just absolutely horrendous. For the amount of ambient and delivery of actual light, this is really pricey. However, if you are looking to splurge and create better atmosphere at home and wow your guests this is the way to go to sync with all your smart home devices and Alexa or Siri!

I started out with a Phillips hue starter kit and I’ve now purchased an additional 4 lighting strips. Super easy to set up. Love how it interacts with Alexa. Great color selection. Change.colors for every holiday of the year.

This is a very good option to add some ambient light and color to your home theater or home office or gaming setup. It requires a Philips Hue Hub (or Bridge) in order to connect and control the light strip. it offers millions of color choices with decent brightness. It is also dimmable so you can choose the intensity of the light. The Hue app allows you to configure automations or routines so you can have the light strip turn on/off to different colors and brightness according to different criteria such as time of day or location of your phone (if you enable geofencing). It can also be triggered by other components of your smart home setup. Length is 80" and can be extended using the optional extension strip. My only take on this product is that it is a bit pricey.
