I already had ambient white lights in the ceiling of my bedroom. I wanted to make it more customizable so I got started with this kit. It was fairly easy to install, but a little difficult to deal with corners. I still need additional strips to extend the length of this kit to finish, but based on what I've tested I expect it will look great when complete.

I bought this LED light strip to decorate around our TV. The instruction and assembly was simple and easy to install. Looking forward to purchasing more of the Philips Hue products.

I now have 4 of these srips they connect via wifi to the hub. Setup was very easy. there are a few free apps out there that have alot of different lighting simulators.. Alot of fun. I am quite happy with the setup.

They put off such amazing color, and they can be used in so many different ways. Just be sure you install them in a location that they can't be sign directly, and reflect off of another surface. Otherwise they can be harsh in your eyes.

These lights are great. They’re bright and colorful. They seem to be a little difficult to break which is great; I accidentally squished and twisted these and they still work perfectly. The controller makes a high pitched noise at full brightness. It’s annoying, but not enough to dislike the product.

I ended up returning some of them as main strip does not have ability to interconnect. extensions were more expensive than original product with adapter and i though i can use them without power adapter to extend the length of strips but its attached to power adapter permanently. Lifx Z strips lets you do this.

Very pleased with the halo effect from behind my 75 inch Samsung.

I bought these for under cabinet lighting, and they are great! My kitchen looks wonderful and I can finally see what I'm doing at my countertops. I also put them under the counter on my island, and I love the look!

I use this as a night light for my kids. Its perfect, as it can be used as a reading light, night light, and I use a different color for when its okay to be out of bed. No issues what so ever

I almost have my entire place lit with Philips Hue. It's a mix of the colored bulbs, the white bulbs for the bathrooms and hallway, the sensors for automating the bathroom and hallways, and then these....my favorite which are the strips. I have them behind all my TVs and TV Stand, as well as this particular strip finished my office, I had a strip behind my computer desk and placed this particular strip behind the monitors. I also use a strip in the kitchen, I placed it out of sight on top of the cabinets, didn't even have to pull the sticky tape off, it just sits up there reflecting up onto the wall and ceiling. It is absolutely incredible the change these can make in your living space. It's also nice to have timers on all the lights as well as knowing they all consume much less energy for your bill. I wish they could bring the price down a bit, but obviously I have purchased them regardless in bits and pieces over time. Highly recommended. Did not give 5 stars because I feel like they could be brighter and I wish they could make the strips bend at an angle, otherwise 4 out of 5 stars.

I have used these light strips for about 2 years now and have zero problems and or complaints, very bright and many different colors to choose from.

The Philips Hue lightstrip really makes a difference with the various colors you can control through the Hue app. I installed mine behind my 65 LED television to create this stunning setup. Highly recommend it.
