Works beautifully but doesn’t work with fire tv. Theyll work for a light but they won’t change colors like they’re supposed to.

Not the easiest to set up but once its set, it worked pretty awesome!

I brought this item as an Open box (Good Condition) no major issues written on the comment part that this item will be defective after use. If anything, I would recommend buying a new box instead of an open box because they will never replace you with the greek squad protection as promise. They sold me an item that is defective and won’t do anything to replace it. Now i’m having to contact the manufacturer to help me replace an item that should be fix by Best buy greek squad.

I bought this product on October 9th, 2022 but it has fallen twice already. I called HUE customer support to get replacement tape for it, but they don't have them. I believe that for the price of the product, what's being used to attach it to a TV is really bad.

Bought the open box in “excellent” condition that includes all original parts, packaging and accessories (or suitable replacement). I received a brown box with just the light strip and a sim popper from a samsung device. No adhesive mounts, no power cord. I was expecting to get a great deal on the lights since I’ve bought open-box products from best buy before and they’ve all worked great. This time I got scammed.

Came in with only 1/3 of the lights working. Hopefully replacement will have me loving it the way I expect. For this price it should be bug free.

I purchased this gradient light strip on December 2, 2024. Today is February 23, 2025, and only a small portion of the lights light up. This was very expensive to only last a couple of months.

This device is by far the only device I’ve ever been completely dissatisfied with from Phillips. The securement devices for the TV do NOT hold it, it’s fallen out multiple times, and it will not latch no matter how hard I try. The worst part I’ve tried to fix it for too long & now it’s not returnable.

This has to be the most expensive LED light strip I've ever bought to only have it fail in a little over a year. According to the specifications, Philips has a 2 year warranty on these. I'll update the review once I hear back from Philips to see how they will take care of it.

Be careful when buying this lights they are very delicate and not as bright as the other led strips.

Pros: It's Hue lighting..I do like that they are bright at the highest setting. the ability to cycle light colors. the added Play box can make the experience grand but at an extra cost. If you already have Hue lights then you will feel right at home with using this strip and adding it to your hub, Cons: Price is very high for a light strip. It doesn't wrap around down at the bottom. the hooks for hanging the strips are a little difficult to get the strip in place and i even had one come off even though I cleaned the surface well. Easiest way to install, the TV needs to come off the wall if it is wall-mounted. play box is a separate purchase and is expensive. No HDMI 2.1

Not for everyone, but I have enjoyed my purchase, and it has made my entertainment experience more lively as a result. Also a good way to light a room. Better quality than other brands. Although I have had trouble getting the adhesive to stick, as my TV is not totally flat in the back. Keep this in mind

I got this Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip to pair with my TV and Bridge, and I love how it enhances the whole experience. It casts a soft, colorful glow behind the screen that really pulls you into the picture. Watching movies on it has become even more immersive — the colors bleed out just enough to complement what’s onscreen. The install was easy: the mounting clips held it steady, and connecting it through the Hue app was straightforward. Once it was up, I played around with sync modes and color transitions — everything flows smoothly, with no weird jumps or delays. Reviewers also praise its bright, accurate colors and easy setup.  I haven’t pushed it into gaming yet (that’s next), but for movies and TV it’s already a game changer in my room. If you already have a Hue Bridge and want to level up your viewing, this strip is worth it.

Bought the strip specifically to watch the Coachella livestream and it’s been a game changer! Best Couch-Ella yet! My only complaint is that the light strip doesn’t bend around the corners of the TV like the instructions suggest so the corners are a little wonky but they work

I recently purchased Philips Hue lights for my home, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the product. Love this. Philips Hue is a great system and this is a great addition. The unit installs behind your television and incluides all necessary brackets and parts. Once setup and programmed into your Hue Bridge and Sync it lights up. It is fast to update to what's on the screen and the gradent feature allows the light to change on the lightstrip to whatever is on the screen near it. This makes your television feel much larger.

Setup was relatively easy. I had my wife help me remove the TV from the wall so I could easily apply the adhesive guides/supports. Sticking them to an OLED panel was a bit nerve wracking as I was trying to apply enough force to get a good stick, but not so much as to damage the thin panel. No harm, no foul. Adding this light strip to my Hue bridge was as easy as any other hue light. I love that I can add it to a room like a normal light as well. It's done an excellent job brightening up a dark corner of the room. The effect while watching is awesome and it instantly won over my wife, who was initially skeptical (as was I). I'm looking forward to enjoying more movies and games! For me the value is there because when it's not being used to sync colors to the TV it's a wonderful lighting addition for the room. I wish I bought it sooner!

This fits so well around my LG OLED. Super easy to install, I recommend getting some alcohol pads to clean off the area on the back of the TV that the mounts will attach to since it tends to get dusty back there. But the color matching is great, and it’s a lot of fun to use especially if you have an existing Hue setup. This is definitely become an integral part of my entertainment center for my family. Yeah, definitely a little pricey especially when you’re having to purchase the Sync Box as well. But well worth it in the right environment.

I have had these lights for about 3 months to this date and i have not been let down. They are so easy to install and when paired with the sync box and bridge it will perfectly mirror the lights that are on the tv. I have had some other light strips before but they do not compare to the phillips brand. The only thing i was skeptical about was the price so i saved up some cash and was finally able to purchase the set up. I was not dissapointed. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to upgrade there entertainment system. The way the lights fill the room really gives you the feeling of being near the characters. This is an amazing addition to your home theatre system or even just for your bedroom television. I love it so much!! Thank you Phillips for making such an amazing product.

I got one for the living room and this thing is literally the star of the show. I have two light bars and this strip is a diva and wants all the attention and she gets it. Lights the whole area behind the tv beautifully and if you have the sync box you can make the lights dance with the colors on the tv. Highly recommended if your a fan of color like me.
