Pricey but worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to buy into the Philips Hue ecosystem because they’re so expensive. But thanks to a discount code and rewards points it softened that blow and I couldn’t be happier with these lights. I’ve used cheap light strips in the past which are ok, but add these with some other Hue lights and it completely transforms your room.

Great product if you use its features
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the gradient lightstrip along with the hue sync box. If you don’t have the hue sync box, the standard hue lightstrips will probably work fine for you. That said, Philips just released an update for the gradient lightstrip that allows you to manually control the different light zones. Personally I would have been fine with the standard hue lightstrip.

Yes: Immersion, No: Price, No Bottom Zone
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oh yeah / pairing this up w a Hue Sync -- this brings out the immersion of movie watching. It is something else. There's a reason why these sell out so fast. The things I don't like about it is the price (its sort of expensive) and its designed for no zones to go on the bottom; which is perplexing. I guess they want us to shell out more for play bars or hue go units.

Good product, could be better.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my Samsung QN95B, only reason I’m giving it 4/5 stars is the adhesive on the clips do not stick very well to the textured backing of the TV. Ended up having to order 3rd party ones of eBay to get them to stick.

Gradient strip is amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly this thing is the light strip we deserve. I have been waiting for this for so long. A few other companies have tried this but im so pleased with this purchase. Installation was effortless and easy to set up as well. The 7 different zones is plenty of area to light up. I recommend this to anyone with the Philip's Hue Play Box. Buy this and enjoy everything about it.

great light, poor power cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really great light, though does not cover bottom of TV and also has poor connections. Fairly bright with vibrant coloring, power plugin isn't solid. I had to return my original for a second because if the power cable was not positioned and moved at all, the power to the strip would flicker. On the 2nd purchase, it still has that issue, but not as bad.

AMAZING
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.gradient is PERFECT! Only thing sucks is that it only works with 3rd part apps. Like through fire sticks/cube/TV. That’s the only reason for it not earning the last star.. but besides that.. I use it everyday!!!!!!! Makes the room set the mood.. either it’s party, movies, or music videos.. I got many ppl trying to have the same set up!! I LOVE IT!! Thanks for making it Philip Hue

An Amazing Home Theater Experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These lights are amazing! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to make their home theater (or just simply tv) more immersive. I also recommend to measure twice and place once, as it becomes a challenge trying to remove the 3M double sided tape that comes attached to the prongs. But overall, an amazing product and has worked beautifully!

Great ambience to any setup
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Adds awesome ambience to any lighting setup. Need to use it with a Hue Sync box and a hue hub. A little pricey but works great and wows all my friends that see it. Wish it had lighting at the bottom of the TV but I supplement that with a Play Bar for full coverage.

Hue Gradient 65"
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple installation and setup with amazing results. Looks great behind the TV. It takes over for 7 play bars which saves you money. Hue sync box not required if streaming from a pc (free app). Don't forget a hue bridge though. Only con for me is the individual zones are not able to be manually changed yet. Rumor is we may get a software update to change that.

Buying Recommendations...
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Lights, a must buy for any avid entertainer. You can buy them separately, but to get the most use out of them I recommend purchasing the Phillips Hue Sync Box. Also, measure the back of the TV first, the light strip come in different sizes, don't go by your screen size alone. I have a curve TV and I could have gone with a larger size.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love and enjoy the light. My advice to buyers, review the install instructions in the hue app. It is much better than the "picture" instructions. It suggests have a friend help which is great advice. I've had them a few months and they are still working well.

Excellent product but expensive
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for movies and gaming and it doesn’t disappoint. The hue sync app or device is a must and is required for this product to work as intended with your movies and games. Either download the hue sync app for free on your PC or purchase the sync device for $229. I docked 1 star off because of the high price.

Your paying over $200... for some lights
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Philips hue bridge with the philips sync box and 65" lights. The set up for the lights was easy. My hue bridge found the lights no problem. If you have $600 to blow for some lights, bridge, and sync box and wanna make family movie night the best experience than yeah go for it. I wouldn't really it to a friend because they cant afford it.

Great lights but very expensive.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these to use with a Hue Sync Box, these lights are very responsive and seem to be able to create more colors than your usual unbranded strips. I have a little issue with the clips that hold it up on the TV. The strip itself is so hefty and heavy that it will fall off the clip sometimes.

useless hue sync computer app for windows and mac
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This light strip will not work with apple tv or other gaming console unless connected to hue hdmi hub, connecting this with sync app in computer (pc or mac) will only make this work for audio / video from the computer. I now have to wait to buy hdmi sync hub to work with apple tv & console, till then this is a expensive night lamp

Wait till they get a load of this!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A nice sturdy piece. Get ready to take the tv off of the wall and I cant stress this enough, make sure that you are aware of the amount of lights that you are dedicating to this project and the space that you are using. The lights will take over the entire room and it will drive you up a tree if youre not ready for all that action
