To keep it short and simple. It did not do any better of a shave than my $39.00 Norelco. Basically your paying a very high premium for a self cleaning shaver. My opinion is, Save your money.

I was skeptical of this shaver due to the price. I wondered if a cheaper shaver could do the same job. But after using the 7300 for a few days I am happy I made the purchase. The shaver provides a smooth shave. The pivoting heads makes a big difference and help provide a smooth shave without irritation. The shaver is powerful and has long lasting batteries. The cleaning station works as advertised to keep the heads clean and lubricated. The only disappoint is the trimmer. You must remove the head assembly to attach the trimmer.I wish it was built in to the shaver like my old shaver. I am not sure if removing the trimmer and the shaver head daily will negatively effect the connection mechanism.

This is the 4th Norelco razor I've owned in my life - been using them since my dad gave me my first one over 30 years ago. After 12+ years it was time for an upgrade and this one is a huge upgrade. I've used it every day since it was delivered and couldn't be happier. I had been using a regular razor one or two times a week because my old Norelco just wasn't doing the job any longer even with new blades. Based on my first 4-5 shaves, I won't need to use a regular razor any longer. In my case, it does shave as close as a blade. The cleaning device keeps the blades clean and lubricated - you do have to rinse the blades before you use the cleaning device. It's nice that it charges as it cleans. One piece of advice, when the cleaning is done take the razor off the cradle and shake out the excess cleaning solution. It will dry much faster. Also, since I have been using Norelco electric razors forever, I didn't need to worry about my skin getting used to it.

The shaver is easy to handle, has a light feel, an almost silent buzz when operating, and does a good close shave without the razor burn some cheaper razors leave behind. The cleaning system also is efficient and unobtrusive, charging and cleaning both from the same station. Icons/lights on the razor remind you of the need to clean and charge, as well as when the cutters should be replaced.

I would give this razor a 4.5 stars. It shaves really close and the heads really shift to stay close to your skin. The cleaning system makes it easy to clean the razor. It cleans and recharges in one step and then auto shuts off. The cleaning system does a really good job. The reason why not 5 stars is two things. The trimmer is something that snaps on and replaces the heads. I can see this causing issues with wear or something breaking (all parts are plastic that snaps). Other problem is I don't like leaving the shaver in the cleaning unit. After cleaning it tends to leave the lubricant on the heads that then sticks to the face. I blot it after cleaning. If you leave it in the system it stays wet. But they are really minor things. It shaves very close. Best shaver I have owned. One other tip. I only use the cleaning system every couple of days. Most days I just open it up and tap out the shaved hair. I do this before cleaning too. I figure it will help keep the cleaning solution cleaner.

The new 7000 gives a fine shave, but it is a bit too clumsy to handle vs. the older more compact models. It is difficult to trim certain parts of the face due to the large face of the razor. Also, changing the head for adapting the trimmer is more difficult than old models.

This is a fantastic razor for those with sensitive skin. It shaves just close enough to last all day without irritating the skin. The charge lasts several days so you only need to charge it once every two weeks depending on how often you shave. The cleaning system is so easy to use, and saves a lot of time.

I was wanting a new/ better electric shaver for a long time , so my wife decided to get me one for Christmas. I love it !! Cuts close like I like it, and I love the cleaning feature.

I like the flexible head. Makes it much easier to get a smooth shave all over. Works as it should and charges quickly. I like that I can use it while I'm wet also.

This thing is sharp. And beautiful. Cuts like a dream and is easy to re charge. Highly recommended.

Not only does the razor give me a clean shave, the cleaning machine that comes with it is a great added bonus.

I have had several electric shavers over the years and was not happy with any of them. Five years ago I bought a Norelco shaver and thought it was the best one ever, until now! The Norelco 7300 surpasses even my last one. A great shaver! If you have had a bad experience with electric shavers then I would suggest giving the 7300 model a try. I'm glad I did!

This razor gives a close shave. It's easy to clean, and has a great travel bag. Very happy so far!!

This is the best shaver I have ever used, the smoothness that it runs on my face and the convenience being water proof and rechargeable and plus it cleans by itself if you dock it in its docking and charger. The overall looks and color it matches my bathroom... love it.

It is absolutely amazing how well this works. Traditionally, electric shavers did not work for me. I decided to try it and although expensive it is well worth it, the shave is actually as good as a razor. I would not have believed it had I not tried shaving with it myself.

This shaver is great -- quiet and quick charging, with a very smooth shave. Cannot be used while plugged directly to outlet. Pictures showing the cleaning system are out of proportion - the cleaner is HUGE compared to the shaver, and takes up some vanity space. Not easy to hide underneath either, as the solution can slosh around and make a mess. Designed to stay put, it doesn't look bad, it's just big, serving as an oversized shaver holder when not charging or cleaning. Overall a good buy, when on sale.

Have been using this shaver for 3 weeks & it works just great. Very quiet & gives a smooth close shave wet or dry. Includes a trimmer that also works well & comes with a unique cleaning/charging system.

I've been using this razor now for over a month and I'm very pleased with the performance. I've tried it wet (water), dry, and wet with shaving cream. It performed the best for me when used with shaving cream; smooth and shaved all the hairs the quickest. However, it performs as expected for all three. The included charger/cleaner is amazing. Not only does it clean and recharge, it also lubricates the blades keeping the shave like new every time - also provides less irritation and extended life of the blades. Buy this with confidence.
