My Norelco 9700 series electric shaver is just what I was looking for. An all in one package that delivers a comfortable quick shave, then cleans itself.

Amazing technology been using straight match fusion for years switch bc blade cost are annoying and high this razor norelco is soo close to skin shaves as well as a straight blade

I decided to splurge and spring for a better electric razor after my other one just kinda wasn't cutting it. (HA!) Anyways, I LOVE the ability this one has to clean itself OR you can simply run it under hot water and clean it yourself. I've read some complaints that it's not as close a shave as they would like, but I don't have that problem. Never have. I have yet to shave with shaving cream yet, just because I'm lazy, but it works just fine, if not better than expected. Is it as close a shave as using a razor? No, not at all, but it's close enough to have me completely replace the razor altogether.

This is a gift for my boyfriend. He like it very much. It is quite and smooth. The cleaning system is better than before, as you can track time.

After years of a very adequate shave with an older and cheaper model Norelco, I treated myself to the 9700 with some Christmas gift money. I am still amazed, over a month later, of the super close smoothness and comfort of the razor. I am very glad that I decided to go for it. The cleaning and lubricating system for weekly use is a nice feature.

I have been using Norelco products for a long time. See the nickname Oldguy. This is the best one I have owned to date. It has the best self cleaning system of all the others I have one as well.

Excellent for the skin and shaves smoothly. It would have been better if there was a flip up precision trimmer on this. shaver.

Norelco is known for its great shavers and this is by far the best shaver I have ever used.

Great shaver for the money - if purchased right (on sale, etc.) Best of the 9000 series. Consumer rating agencies say the 9300 is the biggest bang for the buck, however, gotten on sale - this one has some nice extra features. Knowing battery life is a nice touch. Takes some getting use to, but a great shave. I use it with shaving gel and it glides smoothly.

I have owned Norelco and panasonic before and changed from panasonic to this new model and was very impressed. It works beyond my expectations. I was disappointed that my high end panasonic died after 4 years. My older Norelco still works but as age your beard changes and I found the new cutting technology was needed to get those nasty hairs

I was in the market for a good shaver and this one exceed my expectations.

Never been a big fan of electric razors, none have ever seemed to work well. I shave my head and the ones I've used before don't cut very well or move with the curves very well. This razor works relatively decently for shaving my head, but for the price, not entirely sure it's still worth it. Overall one of the better electric razor/shavers I've owned though.

As a gift for my uncle, he told me the shaver is the best one of which he has used.
