I used to use electric shavers for years until I switched to manual shaving systems. Recent changes in health forced me to switch back. Looking at reviews and detailed searches led me to this shaver. Needless to say – I’m impressed. While it’s at a pricier purchase point, the features that it comes with seem to balance it out – especially to the thrifty shopper. The shave will take some getting used to as the literature suggests. Don’t just give it one or two tries and say ‘the heck with it.’ After a week and a half, I’m feeling more confident, the shave is even closer and I’m delighted in my purchase. Yes, it takes time to get comfortable with it – I managed to nick myself with an electric shaver, not once – but twice! I’m still thrilled with the purchase.

I bought it as a Bday gift for my husband. At the beginning I found it way to expensive but it is worth the price. He has been using it for more than a year without having to do nothing more than charging it

As a choice I use it as a wet shaver and it works great.

Very happy with it. If you are looking for the best shaver in the market , this is the one. It is pricy vs other , but you have design, the battery life, clean and fast shave are guaranteed.

After decades of using a Braun Series 9, I switched to the Norelco 9700. It gives a good smooth shave with far less irritation and noise. The Norelco also has a much quieter cleaning cycle.

Great shaver. I like the cleaning system. Does a thorough job and dries it nicely.

This is the second Norelco in the 9700 series that I have owned in the past 3-4 years. It provides a close, smooth shave with no skin irritation as long as your face is used to an electric razor. It is light in weight, compared to the Braun I tried between my first 9700 and this 9700. It is comfortable to hold. The three rotary heads give a close shave without having to apply pressure to your face. Applying pressure to the razor will only cause wear on the shank of the unit that holds the 3 rotary heads, which will loosen the shank over time and it will have to be replaced. Apply light pressure and it will do a good job and last a long time.

The unit runs a long time without the needs of recharging. Also very powerful and easy to use. Cleaning up is easy with few parts that needs to be taken apart

Great shaver, much closer shave than the lower priced models. Cleaning system is really cool,(i use it about twice a week) and the trimmer does it's job

The cut is nice and smooth. Its like using razors.

This is the answer for guys with sensitive skin. Worth every penny! Excellent investment for a grooming product. Very close shave & easy to use.

It is an excellent shaver. Gets all the angles and the charging / cleaning system is very efficient. It's ergonomics are great too. The only down side is that it's a bit slow if you let your beard grow more than a few millimeters.

No razor burn. Nice close shave. Also battery life is very good. Easy to clean using it dry. Have not used it wet.

I have owned many electric razors and this one actually does what they state it will do. I have sensitive skin and have no problems. It is awesome.

This razor is still performing as,well as a new razor can be expected to. The good selling points is the fact when it sitting on the base it doesn't have to be charging, you get to choose. Also you can choose how often it cleans. I think my favorite part is you can do all the actions separate. By that I mean the charging function is Standalone the cleaning function is Standalone so it isn't one button that does everything you get to choose all functions individually
