    I’ve used Norelco’s for 40 years, all of my old had a closer shave than this one. You would think it improves but you have to go over the same area over and over again and press harder to get a fairly close shave. Disappointed.

    This shaver is horrible! It never has worked right since I received it I called about it to Best Buy and they told me I need to send it into the manufacturer this is what you do for sale products? You just lost a good customer

    It's not as close a shave as I thought. First ever of this type and I left it in a drawer. It works. Just not what I thought. I want shtuff that surprises me, this was underwhelming.

      It's possible that your shaver is not giving good results because it's dirty. There can be hair or dirt particles stuck inside it, causing the shaving heads to not function correctly. To fix this problem, please properly clean your shaver. If possible, remove the shaving heads and clean your shaver from the inside as well. When you shave with your Philips Shaver, you will achieve optimal results if you make slow circular movements with the shaver over the face. While shaving, it is important to be gentle, especially if you have sensitive skin prone to irritation. Do not press the shaver too hard against your skin. Only apply a gentle pressure which makes your facial hair stand upright and makes it easier for the shaver blades to catch and cut them. And lastly, another reason why your shaver might not be working properly is that it is not assembled correctly.

    THIS PRODUCT COMES WITHOUT THE TRAVEL BAG AND THE MOUNTING STAND. The picture of the razor is deceptive.

    Norelco Continues to Disappoint (Series 3000)

    The quality (close shaves without leaving individual hairs remaining, has been the Average result of their shavers $150 over the past 10 plus years. The redesign of the heads are the culprit. I have a shaver that is 15 years old and it shaves better than the newer ones. This isn’t too much different than a LOT of other products these days with low quality or poor design.

    If you want hair long enough for a shadow, this is your product. I, however, want a shave as close as possible to skin. This was not it for me.

Please keep in mind that your skin needs to adapt to the new device, therefore please allow yourself an adjustment period of two to three weeks. Please also follow these tips to avoid further discomfort and skin irritation: 1. Consider using Aloe Vera cream/lotion, a gentle moisturizer or an alcohol-free aftershave lotion to minimize skin irritation after shaving. 2. In the beginning, shave less frequently to allow the skin to recover between sessions. 3. Make sure your skin is clean before using your Philips shaver. 4. Apply gentle pressure and move the shaving unit slowly, in circular movements over your skin. 5. Pre-trim long or hard to shave hair.     Cheap junk. Bought this to hold me over while on the road. Shave is not as good as more expensive and better quality electric razors
