    Just the blades

    Just includes the blades. How much more can it cost them to include the rest of the plastic pieces that comprise the full head? Pretty pricey for just blades. All in all the blades are direct replacements and great blades for sure. Unfortunately I had to select Yes to recommend to a friend because what other choice do you have if you need to replace the blades which by design need to replaced every to often.

    After about 9 months of use my Norelco 9000 series shaver was becoming increasingly dull and it was taking longer and longer to shave. No matter how much I cleaned and rinsed the shaver head, it didnt seem to make much of a difference. Even though $60 is a third of the cost of the entire unit, this replacement is a must if you want to continue using this great shaver for another year.

    These are actually the SH90/62 version that is an update from the SH90/52 - still compatible with all the same shavers, but they claim a 30% closer shave. My husband says he can't believe how much of an improvement it is. Whether that's from the upgrade or the fact that his old heads just needed replacing is hard to say but it was still a great purchase.

    I was extremely pleased with a markedly smoother and closer shave after replacing the heads on my Norelco 9000 series razor. I wasn’t eager to spend what seemed like a lot of money for the replacement head parts but what a difference the replacement heads made! Well worth the money. My original heads had 14 months of use — should have replaced them at the recommended 12 months.

    I am replacing my heads after 9 months on the original ones. The SH90 have lasted longer than my previous Norelco which used the HQ9. These needed replacing every 6 months. These are the latest model SH90 heads, come in an OEM Norelco box, and include the orange tool for removing/replacing the cutter heads.

    This is my 2nd one in 2 years. Although its recommended by the manufacture to change in 6 months, i change every year. i use the 9700 series and this is pretty good. once you use electric shaver, you would never go back to the the old manual blade shaving set.

    I've always liked this razor. It does a great job of shaving my skin baby-smooth. My only problem is I have to replace my blades every four months, but I have stiff hair from my Dad and I also use it to shave my head, which it does great as well.

    These cutters are replacements for use in the RQ12+ and the RQ12 pro head units. You don't have to replace the whole head unit, just the cutters. If it's taking longer than normal to get a good shave or the head is making loud noises, these cutters will return it to like new performance.

    My Norelco S9721 shaver works perfectly (and I really like it) so it was worth replacing the blades versus buying a new shaver. It wasn't quite as easy to replace them as advertised, but it wasn't too bad. Make sure that you don't throw out the orange piece that looks like packing material - you need that piece.

    thought my 14mo Norelco top off the line shaver was broken.looed and felt like I had to shave..bought new blade pack at best buy.supprise as my wife called it baby butt smooth.like new perfect and fast. no razor burn.i learned that I will buy a new blade set every yr for my Norelco9000 shaver.

    I've owned Norelco Philips shavers for a long time and this last one with the self cleaning feature is really sub par. I dont think the blades last anywhere as long as they should. With the cleaning it should prolong the life of the blades but I am unimpressed. This is probably the last one I will buy.

    Blades stay pretty sharp for several months. Easy to clean by rinsing under warm water. A little finicky to install, uses plastic locking rings on each head. Unit only contains new blades and replacement tool. You have to use your original heads.

    I have been a loyal Norelco Philips user for at least 3 decades an the current generation of shavers seems to be poor for durability in terms of blade life and I have the setup with all the bells and whistles. Not sure if this will be my last.

    Blades are easy to replace and your razor act like new. In my opinion to be done every 18 months. Only issue : a little bit pricey for what it is.

    They work very well but Philips just charges way too much for all their razor heads so I can only give it a 4. Best Buy is great and shipped this fast right to my door.
