Totally worth the cost of the razor. My old razor was not shaving certain areas on my neck. New blades would not have made a difference either. So, I decided to buy this razor and I am impressed with the ease of using and cleaning this razor. I am finished shaving in no time compared to my old one. No irritation or burn after I dry shaved. Handle is easy to hold. Extremely happy I bought it.

I bought during Black Friday sales, as it was only a little more than three cost of replacement blades. USB charges with your own ac adapter - comes only with the cable. Plugged into my iPhone charger and charges in a few hours. I have shaved my head -bald - face and neck for a FULL 7 days and did not have to recharge. It does not operate with quite as much power as my standard cordless Philips Nireclo Series 5000, so takes just a few minutes more to shave. This is is VERY MUCH LIGHTER. I love the simple design. And great to have a travel and backup shaver now!

This is an all-around great shaver and trimmer. It is designed ergonomically, and certain unique features elevate its value and results. For one, the trimmer has a longer than usual neck that allows for a more precise cut and line-up. Shaping and getting a defined edge is so easy with this trimmer. Along with that, the cuts are much finer that what other trimmers can accomplish, especially at this price point. The shaver attachment pivots to accommodate to the body’s natural contours, ensuring a clean shave with no missed spots. It leaves the skin smooth, there is no snagging and no irritation after shaving. It also opens for easy cleaning inside. It charges quickly and has lasted all week and still has not needed to be charged. It is also waterproof so it can be used in the shower. It is great for both face and body. Another plus is that it is really quiet. There is no worry about waking anyone up when shaving at night or in the morning in a room-adjacent bathroom. Overall, this is a great shaver that meets all basic shaving and trimming needs and can be used by both males and females.

I purchased the 5000x rechargeable wet and dry shaver with precision trimmer to replace an original Norelco corded electric shaver that i had for years. I really enjoy the cordless feature and this model stands on its base when not in use and that works well in my space. It shaves very well and is quiet and very easy to clean after use.

This was my first experience with a triple head electric shaver, and it was a positive one. The shaver feels great in your hand. It is light and easy to carry around. It is also very quiet compared to other electric shavers I have used. It also has a trimmer attachment, which I did not use. You simply unsnap the triple head cutters and snap in the trimmer to use its features. The cover for the triple blades flips up for easy cleaning. A USB-A cord is furnished for charging. The unit does not ship with a charger. I used an old spare charger for my iPad, and it worked fine with the razor. You plug it in, and the charging light flashes, to let you know it is charging. When I returned home a couple of hours later, the shaver was fully charged. I got a close and comfortable shave shave with this shaver, with no discomfort whatsoever. It is a wet-dry shaver, and I used wet. It is said to be fully shower safe. Like most rechargeable shavers, you are not to use the shaver while it is plugged in to your USB charger. That cable is for charging only. This unit should last through many shaves before it’s time for recharging. I very much enjoyed the shaving experience with this Philips Norelco shaver, and I highly recommend it.

Here’s my personal review of the Philips Norelco Shaver 5000X after using it for a few weeks: First off, the design is sleek and lightweight. I really liked how comfortably it fits my hand, and the grip makes it super easy to maneuver—especially when I’m doing a quick shave before heading out. The waterproof build is also a plus, so whether I want a dry shave in front of the mirror or a quick touch-up in the shower, it’s got me covered. The shave itself is pretty good for an electric. It handles my regular stubble with ease—even after a few days’ growth, I get a clean result on my cheeks and jaw. Sometimes, I do feel a bit of stubble on my neck if I brush against the grain, but it’s minimal and usually only if I’m not super thorough. It never pinches or nicks, and it takes just a couple of minutes to get everything tidy. My neck can be sensitive, but I had only a little irritation after shaving daily for a stretch. Switching out the shaver head for the trimmer is quick, but if you use the trimmer a lot, having to swap the attachment might be a bit of a hassle. The trimmer works fine for sideburns and cleaning up around the nose, but it’s not the most precise or quiet out there. For me, it’s good enough for what I need. Battery life is impressive—I’ve gone weeks without needing a recharge. The USB charging cable makes it portable, but I wish Philips had used a standard USB-C port instead of their usual proprietary plug. One thing to note: you can’t run the shaver while it’s plugged in, so if the battery runs low you’ll have to wait for a quick charge. Thankfully, a 5-minute charge is enough for one shave. Cleaning is super easy; just pop off the head and give it a rinse after use. I like the ergonomic design of the shaver. It's easy to handle. It has a quiet motor. It's easy to clean because the head is waterproof, and the battery lasts long. Norelco makes great products.

Very convenient and comfortable for shaving. It is silent in comparison to my very old Philips. I can watch TV while shaving. Easy to cleanup after shaving . Setting of trimmer look little bit complicated for me. Convenient and quick charging from regular USB charger. In common - very good replacement for my 15 year old Philips.

Excellent product and good price.. It gives a super smooth shave without irritating my skin, and the flexible heads make it so easy to use. The battery lasts forever, and the quick-charge is super handy when I’m in a rush. Cleaning it is super simple, and it feels great to hold—really comfortable. Overall, it’s made shaving so much easier. Totally recommend it!

It's not as noisy as some of my other razors and gives a great shave on my neck. Many razors don't do that good in shaving neck hair. It is harder to shave my mustache with this razor but I'm still able to get a good shave there quickly.

LOVE IT! This shaves so easily and keeps a lot of the hair inside it so hair isn't falling all over the place. Cleaning the shaver is very easy and I would definitely buy again.
