I got this Philishave Electric Shaver for my son who prefers electric shavers. It is a good value considering that the price is affordable, the quality is nice and it provides all the basic functions one needs in an electric shaver. The Misty Dawn color is very cool looking and the black grip is ergonomic and comfortable. Included with the shaver is a soft, canvas storage bag and protection cap for the blade system. Even though my son has had prior Philips Norelco shavers he felt this one did a superior job shaving. Perhaps that is due to the flexible four-direction movement of the ComfortCut blade system. The shaver also features an integrated, pop-up precision trimmer that easily becomes accessible with the push of a button on the back of the shaver. This did an adequate job, but if one has a lot of trimming, a stand alone trimmer does a better job. The charge time for the shaver is quite adequate and we've yet had a need to charge it, but Philips states the lithium-ion battery fully charges in one hour. We can easily recommend this shaver, especially for the value it provides while having a quality build. By no means a deal breaker, but a hard shell case for the shaver would be nice for those that travel.

The Philips - Philishave Electric Shaver is easy to use and simple to figure out. Charged from the box in about an hour, but one thing I thought was great is it worked while plugged into the wall. The razor did a good job on the day old stubble, getting a nice close shave. The trimmer works great to get around the ears between haircuts. I like the misty dawn highlight color and the fact it come with a travel case is a bonus. A nice simple electric razor that gets the job done!

The Philips Philishave has a great retro design. It works very well and the price can’t be beat!
