Very basic shaver that does the job but nothing really special about it. I find the blades don't last super long on these models, but if you need a no nonsense shaver, this will get the job done.

I've used Phillips triple-headed shavers for many years - some very expensive ones and some more moderately priced - and I've never been disappointed. This inexpensive cordless shaver is no exception. The package includes the shaver, a power cord, a cover to protect the blades and a bonus travel case. It also has a built-in pop-up trimmer. To charge from zero to fully charged takes around an hour. That gives you and hour of shaving time, and you can use the power cord as a backup if you don't have time to recharge. While charging, the green light flashes and when it's fully charged, the light turns solid green. That takes the guesswork out of knowing when it's fully charged. Nice touch. They suggest you give it a 21-day trial period to get your face used to the razor for best results. If you're not satisfied after that 21-day trial, they'll refund your money within 45 days of purchase. That's what I call a real "satisfaction guaranteed" promise! For best performance, they recommend you change the shaving heads after a year. There's a lighted shaver head replacement reminder on the shaver that lets you know when it's time to replace the heads. Another nice touch! Since I've been using their triple-headed shavers for years, this inexpensive shaver gave me a nice close shave the very first time I used it. IMO, you can't go wrong with this shaver.

The Phillips Shaver is one of the most reliable electronic shavers out there and here it’s no different. Still easy to use and ready to go when you need it. This version of the PhilliShave is the 80th anniversary of the product line and the honor and integrity of Phillips is still there from the very beginning. For what it’s worth I will say they have made it easier for men when it comes to the world of shavers. Packaging reflects this as it shows they did put slot of thought and care into the presentation of their history. The shaver works without a problem. Cutting down facial hair in a matter of seconds. The three circular blades work tandem with each other. The more pressure you apply the lower your facial hair gets. All of this brings maximum comfortability without irritation from this blade. This one also have the basic features you need at a Low price. On the back of the Electric shaver is an pop-up trimmer so you can line yourself up the way you need to. Overall these things work quickly, Need a quick shave before leaving out the door? Need to take it with you to your car? It will last and it will get the job done. The razor is well-designed and nicely fitted into your hand with the contour. The color is a nice change of pace to be honest from the sea of dark blue and black shavers. Here is a dark teal color that is nice to look at. The PhiliShave is also rated IPX7 so you don’t have to ever worry about water getting on these things. Inspire the box you get the A/C Charger, A little bag to put the shaver in, and a cap to cover the shaver when not in use. Battery life is excellent holding charge until I was done with it. It takes about an hour to charge from 0% to 100% but the shaver last an hour of runtime. And that’s the beauty of this product. No gimmicks, No WiFi, No stats from your beard with Bluetooth. Just a good reliable shaver that any guy should own. That’s what’s been working out for Phillips for 80 years and I don’t expect that to stop now. On top of all of that it’s affordable which make this an all around 5 star product.

This is a really great shaver. I find it best to use it every day, but if I skip a few days I’ll use the Philips One Blade, and then follow with this one. The built in trimmer is great for sideburns. It charges fast and is very lightweight. The best part of it is that you can easily clean it. Pressing a buttons pops the top open, and you can take it off. Then rinse out and let air dry. Perfect!

I've used the 6900 model over the last year which double the price, but I like this new shaver better. The shaving heads are smaller, but that's actually an advantage, I think, because it's easier to get close around your ears and nose. I also like the ergonomic rubber grip and love the retro color scheme. Finally a shaver that's not the same boring, solid black! It comes with a handy little travel bag and a cover for the blades. With the 1-hour run time per charge, I can take it on a two or three day trip and not even worry about bringing the charger along. It also has a pop-out trimmer to keep your sideburns from creeping down your face or, I suppose, to keep a mustache trimmed. Overall, I think this is a great value for the money. Philips makes solid shavers that just work well with no troubles. With the appealing color scheme and the retro decorated box that it comes in, I think it would also make a nice gift for the holidays coming up.

This shaver is very easy to use. As long as it is charged, I am ready to go. I have not shaved a lot in months. But Halloween came up and I needed to be Clark Kent. Well, Clark Kent does not have any stubbles, so I needed a reliable shaver. This device did not fail. I just recklessly kept sliding it onto my chin, cheeks, moustache area, neck-- without fear. It didn't even feel like anything. No hair pulling, and hardly any return to an area I have already shaven. My face felt so smooth, like I was back in my preteen years. It is easy to charge too-- not much accessories and the top comes off easy when I clean it. My moustache has grown back since then and there aren't any issues with my facial hair. It is still the same as how it was before I shaved it (meaning, no thickening alterations to grown back hair whatsoever). It is a good shaver. It is not bulky, comfortable to hold and most of all, it's plain reliable, and I think that's what a good shaver needs to be.

    Great Low Cost Razor

Tou could spend more for a cordless razor, but why would you? This is the classic Philips Shaver updated for the modern age. It charges quickly and holds a charge long enough for at least a week of shaves. It shaves as close as you can hope for with an electric shaver and has a pop up trimmer. Great first shaver or for anyone on a budget.

Norelco shavers have been around forever. I have owned their expensive top of the line shavers and some of their less expensive models. With this one, I was expecting a fair product due to how how inexpensive it is. I was pleasantly surprised when I used it. It was fast and powerful. It took down my whiskers in no time. The shave was smooth and comfortable. This performs with the best of them, if not better. It charged quickly and performed superbly on battery power. Don't let the low price keep you away, as this is a great performer.

    Typical excelleant shaver from Philips

This is at least my 20th shaver in 40+ years from Philips. I have always preferred the triple header with trimmer and cord for charging. This one charged in 20 minutes out of the box (Red to charge, solid green when charged, and then light timed out). Shaved like a new sharp one (hello), quiet, excellent trimmer function, and a two year warranty. Color was nice also. Quality made in the Netherlands. WOW! Was not expecting that at all!!!!!!!! Nice country to visit BTW!

The Philishave Electric Shaver works well. It’s nice to be able to shave without being tethered to a wall outlet, especially since most bathrooms don’t seem to have a lot of available or conveniently placed outlets. It charges quickly and they claim a full charge will last up to 60 minutes, which gives you weeks between charging. So far the charge has lasted me over a week of shaving every day. The shaver feels good on my face and adjusts well to the contours of my face. Cleaning the shaver is simple and easy, just pop open the top and rinse under warm water.

I finally replaced my older Norelco model which I use for travel. Which speaks a lot about Phillips craftsmanship, I originally purchased my first seven years ago. The aesthetics surprised me with it’s cool aqua blue color. Very nice touch. The extra pop out blade does come in handy for trimming beards, mustache, and sideburns. Perfect for all the squares and Daddy-O’s out there. The shave was clean and glided easy on my rounded face. I’m sure even squares will enjoy it’s clean slide. AGAIN, this is a dry shave, so no wet shaving, or it will be a drag. If you are looking for a wet and dry, then invest in a higher end model like a 7500 model or higher. This is perfect for the quick and on the go mornings or afternoon touch ups. The cleaning was straightforward and simple. Very satisfied with it’s simple functionality, practicality aesthetics. If I dig it, you dig it. Dig it?

I guess you can say its not your dads old razor... Or wait is it? The colors embossed on the razor go back to the old days of how these products looked. Gone are the days of expensive razors and in with a head that can be rinsed in water. Just took it for a test spin yesterday and was very comfortable on my face. I actually prefer this over the razors as its hard to shave my face in certain areas, maybe the stubble was too thick for the razor or so forth but this shaver just gets it. Love the mustache trimmer that pops out as I failed miserably with scissors trying to trim once, at least this will make trimming easier. It charges pretty quick after I got it out of the box and I appreciate the bag that was included in the bag as it will be handling travelling this year and next.

Best for a starter electric shaver

I Have been using an electric shaver for more than 30 years, it is quiet, but I think it's from not having super-fast blade heads. And speaking of blade heads, yes they swivel, but just the blade, and not the whole head. It does not conture around the face like my other Philips, I have owed, I think this shaver would be best for the man just starting to shave or someone wanting to move from a blade to an electric. I will say it does get a close shave, but it needs to swivel and bend, However, for the price its a perfect starter unit. I would recommend it for the right person.
