I have been a Sonicare user since the 90s. I purchased this brush to replace my Diamond Care that broke after about two years of use. The Diamond had multiple users in my home and I cannot say with certainty that its early demise was d/t poor quality or the result of careless teenage users. This one however was all me. The brush worked great the first few times. Then it became loud, I mean real loud and basically stopped vibrating the brush. Oddly this is also how the Diamond-clean ended. I went to the store and purchased a replacement head hoping it was just an off connection. Nope, no difference. The handle vibrates well and the post the brush attaches to moves all over the place, but almost no movement is transferred to the brush. Plus it now sound like a lawn mower. Tostado time from purchase to demise… less than a month. My first Sonicare lasted so long that i never had any issues shelling out money when a improved model was released. I'm sad to see the quality have declined so sharply. After all theses years I think I'm breaking up with the Sonicare brand. Their are many new brands with the same or more brushes per minute, greener manufacturing, additional technology, lower price points, and fingers crossed better quality.

After a few weeks, my teeth seem whiter and my gums are definitely healthier. I'm giving it a 4 for cost and the fact that replacement brushes are ridiculously expensive. For that price, at least one replacement could be included. And of course, now this model is on sale. (In one spot, soecs also say it comes with a charging glass. It does not. And the register-your-product-for-a-free-brush offer only works if you subscribe to their replacement program - a deceptive promise.)

Purchased for my spouse to replace an older model Sonicare. After a few days of use, the Diamond Care head/brush began to vibrate and make noise (the little plastic retainer in the head comes loose and vibrates when the brush is turned on and while in use). Disappointed in lack of quality for something that cost $109 and that bears the Sonicare name.
