I purchased this unit to supplement my system and it did not dissapoint

Honestly i am not impressed much for this sub as i was expected. That's just ok, little small sub, the bass sound is not really deep enough as i had with JBL before

I purchased this subwoofer to replace an aging subwoofer and it is an excellent replacement,this is the best subwoofer I have owned. Great sound.we are pleased with my new subwoofer.

This sub woofer is fired toward the ground and give off an excellent quality sound and adds amazing reality to movies and anything else.

Who needs a movie theater when you've got one at home with this amazing sub woofer I'm talking deep gravity mind blowing amzing sound.

Deep rich bass response, fits great with my system. Perform better than the last Polk subs very pleased with over all performance.

Picked up 2 of these subs on sale which add great bass to my sound system.

I bought two of these subs and they sound great together, but I have had to replace one twice already bc it stop working on me! Pioneer needs to recall these babies!!!

After having bought 2 Kilpsh subwoofer that had chudding (odd noise when there is bass happening) problems, I returned them, and got this beauty. The pioneer is FAR superior, and can handle much more bass than those Klipsh subs could. I watched Furious 7 with it, and the movie came to life in ways I have not experienced before. This puppy is the closest you can get to movie theater sound that you can both hear and FEEL! Awesome subwoofer!!

At a full retail price of $600, I do not believe this sub is worth that price. If you have no other sub to compare it to, you might like it but I have experience with many different subs and I can tell you that there are subs out there for much less money that will do just as good, if not better of a job than this sub, in respect to what the general population expects out of a sub. Again, it's a good sub but nothing special. I do like that the low setting on the built-in crossover does a great job in eliminating the mid-range frequencies (many subs do a poor job in that area). The sound on this sub is good but not great and the sound can indeed be powerful but I find that the bass does not get very deep and sometimes the subwoofer structure/enclosure rattles and seems to have a hard time "composing" itself when the sub is pumping out significant bass. Also, just FYI - this sub comes with a relatively short warranty - only two years on ALL parts.

I was a little unsure about buying this subwoofer, but now that I have it I'm very happy with this subwoofer; it has plenty of power , and very deep base. Love it!!!!!

So far I had this sub-woofer for a year and off the chain. Awesome bass and nice sleek look.

This sub delivers clear deep bass sound so perfectly I bought two of them!

I purchased two of these when they were one sale for $399 each. I have a modes listening area room that is 12x22 with 8 foot ceilings. The sub is ok for light listening but it does not have the power necessary to drive the sealed sub like it needs. It left a lot of voids in the room where no bass could be heard at all. Additionally, the lower threshold of 40Hz is not nearly low enough for home theater use. I ended up moving to an SVS SB2000. This has been much better in both sound quality and force behind it. Current System is Yamaha RX-V1065, Receiver Yamaha NS-777 Front Channels Yamaha NS-333 surrounds Yamaha rear Center and Polk CS400i front center. Samsung 60" Plasma.
