I replaced my old Onkio after it died. This one has better sound and 4K pass through. It was on sale when I got so great value. It powers my 7.1 system easily. I don't really need to ever go to the movies again.

This is on sale in stores for a crazy good deal, like 40% off. I love the different settings for music and movies. Lots of inputs for DVD, gaming, etc. It even has 2 channels so you can listen to different audio in different rooms. Great value at its sale price!

Great Receiver. HDMI configuration is Daunting

I bought this receiver specifically for 4K UHD product. The reviews noted that HDR compatibility required a firmware update, but mine worked flawlessly out of the box. It has plenty of clean, distortion free power for audio. I have a 7.2 setup that sounds like a live concert. It has sufficient source inputs to do almost everything you might need. It has ONE MAJOR DRAWBACK - MY REAL RATING IS 4.5. The HDMI setup is way too complicated and not really documented. I had to set up the ports by guessing, trying, experimenting. Other receivers are much easier to configure HDMI ports. If Pioneer wants an HDMI setup this difficult, it should print a manual that explains how to do it. I got it working, but it was not easy.

This unit lives up to every expectation I had. The power sound quality ease of set up and over all performance is well worth the money. Further it's 10x better than my last unit which was a Sony

I bought this receiver because I was looking for something with 7 channels and enough watts per channel to power some vintage tower speakers that required too much power for the 3 other receivers I have. This accomplishes that while also being a bit more future proof than other receivers that I considered because it has 4k capable HDMI ports. I like the audio calibration system, but wish that it was a bit easier to customize the sound to my liking, but that's the only negative thing I can say about this receiver. I'm still swapping different speakers out for the rear channels and playing with different audio profiles, but this is definitely a keeper.

Replaced 5.1 setup with this and it's amazing. Really pumps out some serious power. Several listening modes to choose from and the extra channels really add to the whole experience.

Nice sound and pretty easy setup. I gave it 4 stars because it won't remember the surround sound settings from one source to another. Seems to go to extended stereo to much. Other than these quirks it is a keeper.

I like the multi-room capabilities in addition to the ability to utilize the iPad app the control, power on an off, change inputs, etc. Purchased as a replacement to another receiver, so the big question mark is durability and life. As long as this receiver lasts, I will be very happy.

Have had several Pioneer receivers over the years and love the sound, ease of use and AirPlay features. The VSX-90 is another great receiver...you won't be disappointed.

Receiver sounds great. Dolby Atmos is awesome, you can really hear a difference. Plenty of power, and a million (give or take a couple) inputs.

I have spent no less than 12-15 Hours trying o get my Sonos to play in zone 2. I have my sonos input in the CD analog 1 and speakers out of surround back as described in the online manual. Nothing.... I am about ready to bring this back to Best Buy and buy a cheaper receiver and just deal with only being able to play my sonos or TV and not both at same time. The manual is not very intuitive for a novice and I can not see paying a Geek Squad service call $200. to set up for me. The old receiver worked great without the headache just wasn't able to play TV and music in a different part of home or back yard. This system is supposed to be able to.
