This product is very affordable compared to other brands with similar features. Aside from its auto calibration, you have the option to do more adjustments based on your audio preference. I should say, this receiver can be customized.

No problem with set up so far but have not connected it yet to the Internet. Sounds quite good but I am not an audiophile with informed and knowledgeable opinions,

Very customizable. Very detailed instructions to get this to do what you need. So many inputs and outputs. I'm running 7 speakers and 1 sub. And 2 separate tvs. All my media devices run through perfectly.

Very nice device. Controlling it using an iPad is making it even better and more relaxing! Good sound quality, easy setup.

Although there are higher end receivers out there. This one is cheap and gets the job done. At this price it's not so bad.

A bit complex to setup. It isn't as simple as Sony or some other units out there, but great receiver with good tech built in. Hes plenty of power to handle your setup and is a bit future proof. But then again, what is really future proof these days anyways. Best Buy seems to frequently have this one sale. When on sale, this receiver can't be beat by any comparable model. The self setup mic works quite well too. Didn't really find a need to change much of anything after using it.

I have a sun room connected to a living room ('open plan') and needed one receiver to handle different HDMI AND speaker outputs to TWO different sets of TV's/speakers. Works perfectly, can watch/input/control different sources on each set with ease. Love this thing...Have 2 STB's, 2 gaming systems connected via HDMI as well as iPod (aux) and can watch/play any of them on either system. Make sure you have/buy a subwoofer cable (no speaker wire hook up on receiver for it).

The product has been good and the multi-zone was a plus. The set-up of this product was difficult and was a pain using the app. I should have just followed the basic manual. Wish the pass through on the sound for the TV worked properly.

I wanted to upgrade my A/V receiver to one with HDMI, WIFI, and Bluetooth capabilities. This Pioneer offered all and then some. The price was good, on sale, so I brought it home. Setup was pretty straightforward but the app for my iPad is a work in progress. I've had a few instances where the receiver failed to connect to Bluetooth or recognize my WIFI. It seems better after an update on the app. Overall, I really like this Pioneer Elite VSX-90 A/V receiver. The sound processing qualities really woke up my Tannoy speakers.

This Pioneer receiver replaced a 25 year old Onkyo that was failing. It is a bit big, but also is a very quality build. So far, I've had no issues and with all the features I feel I have room to grow in the future. Many people complain about the display time when switching HDMI sources, but this hasn't bugged me. The set up was a breeze to get thru (using the iPad app). I think I was up and running in less than 20 minutes and the sound is excellent.

The pioneer elite has many sound options. Great sound quality at all sound levels. Very easy to set up.

My 5 year old Yamaha was just not equipped to service my surround sound once I upgraded to a Samsung 55" 4K Smart TV. The Geek Guys ran everything through my receiver...what a difference

So far, very pleased with this unit. Giving only four stars because until our surround sound set up is upgraded to add full 7.2 configuration and new digital surround settings appear on media, can't fully test out the unit.

This replaced a perfectly good Pioneer Elite 91-txh receiver. I've not been disappointed with any Pioneer product I've bought. I needed more HDMI inputs was the basic reason for upgrading. But since I have speakers that require 100 watts/plus, I also needed an receiver that could deliver the power. This does. I particularly like using the Internet Radio feature of the receiver. Because of this, I run the receiver a good 12hrs/day.

The receiver has it all. Simple setup process and as with most higher end systems, will automatically configure your speakers for best sound within your home audio target area.

Fantastic unit with iPhone app interface but not easy to understand its operation. Definitely need the manual and online advice to maximize output performance

This is an excellent Reciever. Easy to setup and very good choice for a home theatre setup.
