Good daily TV and blue ray viewing

This unit works as well as previously when new and has HDMI the other didn't have. Instructions were a bit difficult to follow, but when figured out I got great sound and picture through it.

Mixed bag re. very good ratings on the appliance and very poor ratings on Samsung service, so we got the 5-year GEEK squad package.

Good beginner receiver

Can run the cable box through the tuner with it powered off, which is nice for basic TV viewing. Not a big fan of the remote, especially in dimly lit situations. The labels are impossible to read, when trying to switch between components. I may try switching back to running my components through the TV and then out to the tuner. Has anyone set it up this way? I miss my Samsung TVs anynet ability to automatically switch inputs when my blue ray or fire tv devices are turned on. Then I could just use the amp when I want surround.
