||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good value for the $130 I paid for it, but I needed it as a monitor. The TV uses dithering to achieve a higher apparent dynamic range, this has the effect of given even shaded regions a check pattern. This also breaks small details, making it rather pointless for my use-case as text can become unreadable at standard scaling, and scaling the UI up takes away the point of having a large 4k monitor. I can't speak to the comments others have made regarding the speed of app loading as I never connected it to the internet and never planned on using it as a smart device.

This Pioneer XumoTV is horrible!

It worked for 2 days then started having issues. It won't turn on at all and then it turns on by itself all of a sudden. When it does come on it works for about 5 minutes and then it freezes up and you can't do anything to turn it off except unplug it. I had a geek squad guy out here 2 weeks ago and he ordered some part which to my knowledge still hasn't come in. I was told that it's still under the manufactures warranty there us the possibility it could be replaced if it couldn't be fixed! Well, if you can't get the parts it can't be FIXED!! I want a new Different TV! I tired of waiting for it to get fixed! Do not buy this TV learn from my mistake!

The back light went on it! Smh anywho, rather than get it fixed I purchased this tv. It's okay so far. There is a couple things I do not like. I used to be able to pause live TV on the insignia, I can not do that on this one! That was 1 thing I loved & was used to! I do not see that option on this tv! The set up is different. I like the Insignia set up better. But I got it on sale. I just hope it lasts longer than the other!⁵
