Not good call quality with iPhone 15 pro max

I use an iPhone 15 pro max and the voice quality is horrible. It cuts out constantly. People on the other end complain they can't hear me. There is an awful delay. I spoke with Pioneer and they had me place the GPS antenna on the dash. I did and it did not help. Call quality using another app like Signal works fine.
It is also frustrating that you have to push the back up camera parking lines each time. My last Pioneer I did not need to do that. Very disappointed.

So far, I’m very happy with my Apple CarPlay. I am still learning the ins and outs of a lot of it, but it’s a lot better than what I had. The installation went very well. The technician knows his stuff.

This is my 2nd one….first one was put in my son’s car and it has been wonderful. Touch screen is very responsive and wireless CarPlay has worked flawlessly

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift. I ached the install at the Greenville SC store or 12/24. The day of my appointment I got a call that the two techs called in sick and I needed to reschedule. I rescheduled for 12/26. They look at my daughter’s car and say that I need to purchase a $150 wire kit to retain her steering wheel functions and that the one that was automatically added the the cart one the website wouldn’t do that. They didn’t have this product in stock and said they would have to order it and I would need to bring the car back again. At that point I was frustrated and requested a refund.
I am sorry to hear you are having such a problem with the installation and adapter kits. I know certain vehicles require special interface modules, and they can be expensive. If not yet resolved, please contact Best Buy at 1-888-237-8289. They will try to assist you with the problem.

Connection issues

It’s fine. The main issue is that sometimes it disconnects from wireless CarPlay randomly. It will sometimes connect again in seconds. Other times you have to tap around on the screen a bit. If it didn’t have that issue I’d love it.

When talking scene goes blank volume goes up down on its on taking it back to get checked out

We have seen this issue with the latest iOS updates. We are working with Apple to resolve the issue. For now, press the phone menu icon on the top left corner of the stereo. This will take you back to the CarPlay screen.
