I love this new AV unit. It is replacing a Panasonic 5.2 AV. It really blew that out of the water as soon as it was hooked up. Sounds from my side speakers brought the scene alive like never before. There is so much technology inside this box that it'll take a little while to learn everything, but it has been amazing listening to the things I've been missing in the past. The sound is so rich and full. It truely is a wonderful AV Unit. The HEOS connection is another major plus. I currently do not have HEOS speakers throughout the house, but I can certainly see that happening in the future.

sounds better than the one I replaced. Would have given 5 stars but seems like it was an open box item didn't say it was. but things were open and batteries were already installed on remote also missing instructions

Amazing sound and pretty easy to set up. Very good sound distinction on all channels and very easy to adjust. This was the best cost to performance ratio of all the ones I looked at

I should mention that every few years technology makes these things more difficult to adjust. I am old school, the Pioneer digital from ten years ago was loud and clear, and this takes a lot of messing with to get close to that point. I am still not there 100%, but I cannot take anymore messing with it. I did learn that even if you are only using a couple floor speakers and a center, still set it to 5.1 or 7'1, whatever you have available on your rcvr, because the sound improves regardless.

I got a great deal on this floor model / great brand receiver. It came with everything but the box- unfortunately they were the worst directions I have ever read. I had to hire someone to install it. I do like the features it has and once hooked up, it works great. I am 60 and am apparently just not keeping up with today's technology. I had to go back and buy HDMI cords as they were not included...I was helped by the store manager- I wish he would have told me I needed these after I showed him a picture of what I had and was trying to replace.

Great product. I am actually fairly new to the whole home theater experience but I must say this receiver was a major upgrade from the one I had (sony) which was nearly 25 years old. The sound is awesome and crisp and clear. Very little distortion. Would recommend to others who are just starting out in building their own entertainment system. Fairly easy set up only thing disappointing is lack of instructions. The arc makes it easy to use only one remote for control unless there needs to be some calibrations. Overall I am happy I purchased this item. Best Buy was great in helping me find a great product for the right price. Thanks!

I enjoy pioneer as we all know is a basic in this category. Ease yo use is great with pioneer but the power is very poor. If you read it is usually 2 channel tested with high percentage to get 100 watts. This is used in our garage gym and were boys play video games. We enjoy it in there very much. This is a great starter and I am not disappointed. Its all about what you will use it for and expect.

Received my new Pioneer amplifier, installed and it was best amplifier I bought. Clear sound and easy to set up. Love it

I replaced a Onkyo unit with this and I am really pleased. I am one of those guys who no longer enjoys screwing around with settings to get it "right". A simple, easy to use onscreen menu got me up and running in no time at all. Has all current sound processing formats, it has you covered. Bluetooth works amazingly well. Plenty of power for my very large room with a projector. I have already logged many hours already on this unit. No regrets...not a single one.

We're using this tuner with a pair of Definitive Technology - High-Performance 8" 3-way Tower Speakers in our living room for our home audio/home theater needs. Setup/installation was a breeze since the tuner was connected to our 4K smart TV with the HDMI ARC connection, I just followed the on-screen instructions to customize our sound setup experience. We're now using this tuner exclusively when watching TV, movies, streaming music, etc.

Good quality sound and dolby atmos compatible which is why i purchased it

The wiring and understanding how to actually work the 2 zone system was a little more than we bargained for, but holy SMOKES, the sound is AMAZING! LOVING watching TV with the high density sound and wonderful surround quality!
