Very good receiver and very easy to set up. Great audio!

This receiver is easy to set up and packs plenty of power for the typical small to mid size home theater. In addition the blue tooth is great for pairing with your mobile playlist it streaming service

Purchased as an upgrade to our home theater system, it supported ATMOS and HDR which were needed to better view our streaming media. Being blue tooth capable allowed it to be used from smart phones and other devices for listening to music. Would be nice to support casting native on the device though.

Bought this open box( with no box) but had all paperwork and accessories. Installed and set up as instructed and has worked wonderfully. Of the several surround systems I have owned, this is by far the best I have heard. For the price, you cannot go wrong. Have had no issues at all since purchased. Highly recommend.

Purchased this unit replace a receiver that burned out in my garage. I Use this when I work on my car or do yardwork, I currently have 10 speakers hooked up to it using a speaker switch,, plenty of power!

Why did i wait so long to go with Pioneer? I mean c'mon. They have only been around for so long for one reason. They ROCK WITH SOUND QUALITY and always have.. This is a great receiver for a great low price.

I love it, I really do. A real amp with speakers sound so much better than just a speaker bar. I do have a sub woofer on it and it does make all the difference in the world

This 7.2 channel AV receiver does a lot of the things the more expensive 7.2 channel AV receivers do, but at a slightly cheaper cost. The Pioneer VSX-834 supports Dolby Atmos and DTS-X. It has 4K / 3D passthrough and also has arc capabilities (as long as your TV supports it). It has bluetooth connectivity so you can use your phone or media player to play music over your nice home audio system. The only thing I can think of is that I wish it had more HDMIs (there is 1 output and 4 inputs), but this is not an issue for most people.

I love pioneer and this receiver. The sound is amazing and I can add extra speakers. Who needs to go to the theater when you can make your living room one.

Is more than I needed for the game room. Wife says it shakes the walls, I think it is just right in case the neighbors want to know what I'm watching.

I got it as an open box item and it has surpassed my expectations. I also got the 4 year warranty just in case but so far so good!

The sound is good; really good, but I would have preferred for more options on either preset equalizer or manual adjustments. The cowbell could be clearer.
