This is in the 2nd gen of pioneer Android Auto headsets. I personally use it for Android Auto. There are some annoyances when it comes to trying to scroll too much in the Google Music app, but that's a safety thing imposed by Android Auto itself. Faceplate is easily removable here, whereas I have heard that they higher models are not.

Loving the stereo but it has acted weird a couple of times. The first time the steering wheel buttons don't always function properly but I was told the buttons could just been worn out. Recently the entire stereo froze on me but I got it to unfreeze. Hasn't happened since. Wondering if I should take it back in.

Does not pick 5 strongest radio signals although that is what it claims

This receiver is obviously complex. We are still figuring out how to make everything work the way we would like. My main complaint is that I haven't figured out a way to plug my phone in to charge without turning on the Apple Play. Sometimes I just want it to charge without Apply Play.

Love I can play CD/DVD. I can carry a portable usb drive and copy all of my media on this system and it is able to play. I waited 5 years for the right unit to come along and this is that unit.

Replaced my Factory JBL Nav system with this. Retained ALL OEM equipment including backup camera and USB port. Love it!!

Purchased because it offered both Android auto and Apple car play. I love all of the features and the hands-free calling works exceptionally well.

This is a good system to use with my iPhone. Makes using hands free great. Easy to understand caller's voice. The person I am calling seem to understand me a lot better. HD radio set-up is a little difficult to understand.

I did not want to spend a lot of money for a radio since the one I had prior to this which was damaged from a break in, I only bought 4 years ago. It works well but not very user-friendly in regards to the settings and setting up Bluetooth, like my older model Pioneer was. I figured any new radio should be easier to use. Not very fond of the display view they give you. It looks very old school to me, so I usually keep the screen off I will say this, I will not go anywhere other than Best Buy to have electronics installed in my car. Best Buy is absolutely amazing and they guarantee their work.

Head unit shuts off randomly just as previous model I had in wrangler. Expected to be fixed 2 models later. No current firmware update, so not sure what the problem is. Bluetooth mic is average. People still have a hard time hearing me in my 2013 Toyota Tacoma. Would go with Kenwood model next time.

Works great with iPhone 7/7 Plus. At first it would have trouble connecting but I checked for a firmware update for it and that seems to have fixed the issue.

Love this receive. Plays movies off my SD card just find. The .flac format support is superb!
