This stereo is packed with features and has very good sound even if you only use the internal amp. The most inexpensive unit to give you apple car play, android auto, and hd radio.

Awesome radio that allows me to see my maps on the screen without paying for navigation. Just by connecting my phone. Sound is great and picture quality for moves is awesome

The wife loves this in her jeep. Its has much better sound quality when using bluetooth versus her previous visor mounted bluetooth device. Also apple play is great!

So far it has been a great head unit. Car play is awesome, being able to use my maps on my phone and having it mirror through the radio is great and very smooth.

The Pioneer 4200 NEX is the perfect upgrade for my Nissan Frontier, the sound is amazing, I really enjoy the Apple CarPlay integration which works really well.

This radio has been great and it was easy to install. The android auto option makes communicating while driving very simple and hands free.

Great Car Radio, looks and sounds great with the HD Radio. It's nice seeing the Album Cover Art when the radio station sends the data. The Blue Tooth and USB connection works perfectly with my Android. If I would ask Pioneer to improve anything it would be better anti-glare protection from the sun. It's almost impossible to see the display on a bright sunny day.

Did my research before purchasing this head unit. It has tons of features and amazing sound quality. I wouldn't expect anything less from Pioneer. The only reason why I'm giving giving it 4 stars is for one simple reason. This radio has no kinda of memory setting to back up your adjustments. You can tweak is as much as you would like but if your battery dies or need to do a firmware update everything will be lost. A memory store/recall feature would give this unit a 5 star rating all the way. Tip.... take a photo of all your adjustments. That way you something to reference in case you need them down the line.

My wife has a version prior to this radio. Not much has really changed with it. The only addition that is big with me is the addition of the gauges via the iMaestro steering wheel control unit. It's a nice added touch. Hooking up the radio was pretty straight forward. Only caution is to make sure that you are entering the serial number correctly into the iMaestro unit, if you opt to go that route. The radio looks and sounds great!

I had this unit installed in my 2012 Honda Crosstour. I love it! Had it not been for the occasional loss of signal I would rate it 5 star. I works seamlessly with Apple Car Play and somehow makes Apple Maps better. One thing I really like is the ability to mute the map so it won't keep ducking the music while still having the ability to resume instructions at any time. I had it installed at Covina Sound and it looks like the radio came installed from the factory. Note: It will work with the iPhone over Bluetooth or plugged in. There are more features available when plugged in.

I shopped and shopped to find the right deck for my 2011 Tacoma and this one is where I landed. It does everything well and I don't think you will find another deck in this price range that is quite this refined. Apple CarPlay is excellent and the pairing with my iphone is instantaneous and seamless. Also the bluetooth calls are great. People can hear me really well and I can hear them. A great purchase!

Great product and easy to use.A lot of good features sound good and performed well

Recently replaced my husband's Jeep Wrangler car/navi system with this one. We love that it is customizable (display, lights, apps) and syncs great with our iPhones. While it is a bit of a bummer that we can't use Google Maps instead of Apple Maps with the navigation system, there are no other complaints. Touch screen response time is also quick and responsive. It is loads better than the stock navigation system that came with our car. Good investment, especially if you are on the road a lot.

The features of this unit were exactly what I was needing and the Best Buy installation was a great experience. I do recommend the Blakeney store for installation. I'm able to connect my iPhone to the front USB and iPod to the rear. Everything works perfectly. I highly recommend understanding all of the set-up features and programming them to suit your needs.

I installed this in my 2006 Xterra to spruce it up with some new technology. Great idea on my part. The screen is huge on this thing and the touch sensitivity is remarkable good. Being a Pioneer the tuner is also very good switching seamlessly from digital to analog for those fringe stations. The Android Auto feature works great. You know your GPS maps will always be up to date since you are using the GPS from inside your phone, and you know Google has that Maps program updated to the max. Of course it will play DVD's as well and has AV outputs to feed rear displays if you go that route.Let's not forget you can have 2 cameras attached to this unit. One to face the front and one for the rear. There are so many things this receiver can do that no review can really do it justice. Grab one for yourself and find out.
