Got it on sale. Using it for my kodi+xbox+spotify rig. Makes my cheap speakers (from a 10 years old 5.1 lg home theater) sound so decent. Setup quick and easy with integrated mic. I consider myself very demanding in the technology aspect although I am not an expert audiophile. Great sound. Much technology. Very advanced.

I was looking to revive my Boston Acoustics Speakers with a decent receiver and with the HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0, I was looking for a great receiver while sticking to a budget.First time Pioneer user after using Yamaha for years.I was debating between the Marantz and Pioneer to see what's out there. The Pioneer does give a lot of depth to movies and gives enough drive to my speakers. Set up was relatively easy and love the features.Im looking forward to playing "Rush" by Ron Howard to hear the sounds of formula one cars all over the room. The guitars from queensryche's silent lucidity sounded great!

Went to Best Buy with the intent of purchasing the "lesser" model, I think the VSK 530? I was lucky enough to catch a sale and got this model for the same price previously listed for the 530K model. The sound is great (Bose speakers help for sure). Multiple HDMI inputs is awesome. Never thought I would need 6, but 2 Xbox's, Apple Tv, Cable Box, etc. start to fill those ports quickly. Set up is a little difficult if you aren't technically savvy. The "auto adjust" microphone is pretty sweet. Overall, I couldn't beat this deal for $250. Definitely would recommend.

Like that I can adjust each speaker just how I like it to achieve a great surround sound Not a tech person still not able to get it linked to the router

Have been enjoying this product for more than a month. At this point, I have had no problem at all. What I have had is a series of positive surprises: every feature meets or exceeds expectations. (I've employed the hard-wired connection to the Internet. It plugged-n-played. Haven't needed to try the Blue Tooth connections. Am not saying it doesn't work. Just letting you know that I myself don't know how well it works.) This is a solid, usable and Solid product.

Pretty good receiver, however, you will fumble through the menu settings. If you have a SW, you need to understand how to get through the menu to turn it on, & then if you have small front speakers, know that you need to change them from large to small. Just lots of reading and fumbling through menus for set-ups is all. Might be helpful if they would have a quick set-up button for speaker configuration, you know like "Two front speakers", "Two front speakers & a Sub woofer", then of course "5.1" ... and yes just include the center channel in all 3 set-ups.

My xbox one has a HDMI handshake issue but otherwise great receiver. Control speakers with app and has wifi and Bluetooth. Pairs great with an iPhone

Replaced an old Sony receiver (from a HTIB) and instantly found greater sound with the JBL speakers I'm currently running - L,R and Center ... Still working on the rest of the system, but I know it has plenty of power to push what I need (and more). As far as the HDMI pass through, I'm running a cable box, chromecast, Xbox One and a Wii U through the receiver and there hasn't been any lag at all with any of the inputs.

This receiver incorporates the best tech out in the market. WiFi and Bluetooth compatible, this thing is a monster! I love it!

I'm not an expert, but was looking for an upgrade to hook up my surround sound speakers. I also wanted to upgrade to 4k HDMI wiring and this receiver has 5 HDMI inputs.

Replaced my old Yamaha from 2005, the sound options are great. USB and HDMI connections are nice to have, and the internet radio/wifi/bluetooth are great as well.

This is a great receiver. I had this receiver powering tsi 400 towers and tsi 100 surrounds. The built in blutooth and wifi was a great great feature.

our old one kept turning off for some reason and this one works great with the speakers we have and sounds amazing..love movie nights with the family

GREAT PRICE, QUALITY AND SOUND, WE PURCHASED OUR 1ST PIONEER IN 1997 AND IT JUST WENT OUT 2015 SO NOW YOU KNOW WHY I SAY THE NAME SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

This a great system. I have everything feed through this receiver, including Xbox one, PS3, cable, DVD player, with One HDMI cable running into my LG 65" OLED CURVED TV. I have watched 3D movies and 4k through this receiver. Easy configuration on setting everything up. The sounds great. The output is great as well. My only complaint on this system is using the wireless system with my I phone does not connect so easily every time.

Good 5.2-Ch. Home Theater Receiver for the sale price. It has many of the newer features in a receiver.

We were looking at another brand name stereo for way more money when we stumbled across this Pioneer and couldn't pass it up for the price.

Worked out great for what I needed. Had all the connection I needed and was easy to setup and program.

When I tried power on the receiver the first time, there was no response. I brought it back to the store, the sales person could power on it successfully. Then I tried it at home again, I still couldn't power on it. Several hours later, I tried it one more time and then the magic happened. The unit could work. I think there is reliable issue in the receiver. However, it worked and I didn't bring it back to the store again.

Does what i need it to do, sounds good, will be a lot better when i get cable in my garage
