So i bought this, and it worked great for "almost" a year. I ended up having to send back to Pioneer to be fixed, for a blown HDMI board. Fast forward one year later, and boom no sound after a firmware upgrade. Keep in mind, this was literally right before the SuperBowl (GO EAGLES). Turns out I had to re-install the firmware...no idea why. Furthermore, when going into the menu screen, the screen appears green or changing colors. My friend has the same receiver and it does the same exact thing. Not sure what the deal is, just wish I had bought a Denon or something better.

Love this receiver, and felt it was the best option for the price available. My only reservation is getting the Dolby Atmos to work. My ceiling speakers make no sound on Dolby Atmos but play perfectly fine on other sounds options. I'm at a loss. Otherwise it sounds great and plays a bluray on one tv, while playing the game on another. Or it will display on 3 diff tv's.

Used it for 5.1 music only. Got it for the MCACC Pro abilities. With EXT Stereo, really happy with music.

Excellent product from Pioneer. I replaced an Elite SC-82 with this and couldn't be happier. Since I was already familiar with the setup process, it was a breeze to hookup and adjust the settings. Also able to get this at a discount of $999.95 that really made my day!

I've always been a fan of Pioneer but I have never had the liberty of owning a Pioneer Receiver until recently. I enjoy every listening moment whether it's from the iPod, PlayStation, Bluetooth, Radio, or T.V. Hands down the best stereo ever!

One of me favorites but you have to know how to use it

This Receiver is Awesome. Easy to use and setup. The app could be better for the phone and it did not work with my samsung smart tv with the ARC setting but a simple audio digital cable fixed problem. Must use with Harmony Remote.

Sounds great with Klipsch RP-280FA, Atmos sound is awesome on movies.

Very flexible product based on speaker wiring. Recommend bi-am ping.

If you want a top notch receiver this is it. This bad boy is everything they say it is. Great sound. Fairly easy to set-up. Took some tinkering to get the sound just exactly to my liking. Don' have it hooked up to my network computer but then I didn't buy it for that. I do have it hooked up to Wi-Fi. My only complaint is that they don't give you and owners manual. For the price they should give you an owners manual. You have to go look at it on-line. You need to look at the manual more than a few times to set it up. I just printed it out and put it in a binder. I would strongly advise everybody to do the same because it makes it way easier and less frustrating. Be prepared though the manual is around 140 pages

This receiver works great with our new Samsung 4K TV and 4K blue ray player. We bought this to ensure all our products match in technological ability.

This is an excellent sounding receiver although I am using it as a pre/pro with separate amps for a full dolby atmos setup. I got this on sale for $1000 and you can't beat it for that price.

Upgraded from my 10 year old Pioneer elite & love this one with the built in wifi - though it is a bit dodgy sometimes when streaming Pandora or internet music. Definitely the best priced and best receiver to be able to have 3 separate HDMI outs.

I've had several Onkyo and Yamaha receivers, but the Pioneer is the best I've add. Dolby Atmos decoding works great. Also, passes 4K video and HDR with no problems.

All the features a user could ever want and so much more. This receiver does everything asked of it. Highly recommend.

I had a Pioneer SC1522 and wanted a Receiver with Atmos and soon DTS-X at sale price it is perfect. It is also a 11.2 channel Receiver with external Amp. :)
