Q: Can I hook up a iPod to it

A: Pioneer Elite receivers have had blu tooth streaming from an iPod or iPhone for years. You go into settings on your Apple product and click on blu tooth. Your Pioneer Elite Receiver has built in Wi-Fi and built in Blu Tooth. Very easy to pair....

Q: Is zone 2 digital. ?

A: Zone 2 is not digital but it does have an HDZone that can be set up which will play a digital signal to a 2nd zone. It will only play to one digital zone at a time so if you are using HDZone you cannot play a separate digital signal to the main zone.

Q: Can I bi-amp my front two tower speakers and still use 4 atmos speakers or do I have to purchase a separate amp if so how do you hook it up?

A: You will need an external amp if you want to bi-amp. There are only 9.2 channels of amplification no matter how you split them up so the most you could run is 5.2.4 if you want 4 Atmos speakers. You may be able to bi-amp if you run 5.2.2, not sure though. There are wiring diagrams of many different setups in the manual you can download from Pioneer's website that would take you through wiring setup.
