I needed a new receiver to use with my 4k TV, 4k Blu-ray player and this receiver has everything you need, 4k pass thru with hdcp 2.2, HDR, HDMI 2.0, Dolby Atmos, 3D,..... Highly recommend this product.

The perfect mate for a new 4k tv with its HDMI 2.0a connections and a 4k blu-ray player or the upcoming 4k versions of the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

I got this because of the price and features but have been amazed at how great the sound quality is.

This will be my 5th home theater receiver in the last 3 years. I chose the Pioneer Elite SC-95 because I am going to upgrade my TV to 4k and add Atmos modules. I have always loved the power the SC line of Pioneer receivers puts out across multiple channels. I also love the ease of use and the sound quality with my Klipsch speakers. This receiver is staying for a while, at least it will until the next newest technology pops up. This model checked the most boxes when I was shopping. Highly recommended!

This receiver made the picture on my 4 k tv better, clearer, and the sound system is like I am in a movie theatre! Heavenly!

The receiver sounds great. Only problem was, it was confusing setting up for a 5.1.4 atmos surround... No documentation in manual... Had to search forums to figure It out

Got on sale for $999 and probably the best bang for the buck. Was able to run a 7.2.4 atmos system with an external 2 channel amp and sounds great.

This was the finishing touch to our system. Exceeds expectations and as always Pioneer delivered!

Started with a Denon, then to a Marantz, in search of the best sound quality. I did lose some watts per channel with the SC95 compared to the others but with the sound quality the SC 95 provides you do not need the extra power. Really like the easy wifi set up and simple app for control. I currently run a 5.1 main with addtional speakers on zone 2 in my kitchen and patio speakers on zone 3. One down side for bluetooth lovers, you can only push blutooth audio to the main zone (no zone 2 or3.) No issues with any other imputs.

Good receiver. Well worth the money, especially if you buy it on sale. I got mine for $999.00. Atmos is a game changer.

We bought this particular receiver for ability to do 13.2. So far we have been very happy with.

Hard to set up without the internet or paper manual. No phono input. But the sound is alsume.

Another great Elite AVR. Classic Pioneer sound. It's warm and accurate. There's outputs for 11 channels. I've configured 5.1.4 and it's awesome. The iPhone app has lots of useful features. Some thinks it's to complicated but once you've used it, you appreciate all the settings that can be accessed. Calibrating your speakers is amazingly simple with the supplied microphone and the built-in application. This is my 3rd Elite series amp since 1997 and none have let me down. I'm driving some older Monitor Audio speakers that I love and they sound better than ever. Atmos is just amazing. I put 4 speakers in the ceiling. The 3D, object mixed sound is a game changer for home theatre. Apparently Comcast will be streaming Atmos on-demand soon. I expect we'll see it from streaming services as well. I think it's a good time to dive with a new AVR if you're purchasing a 4k tv this season. The newest offerings have all the stuff to make sure the signal chain is fully compliant with HDCP 2.2. The 4K scaler in this AVR is very good as well.

It has been a long time since I had purchased a receiver thirty years ago and technology has come a long way. Kudos to Pioneer. I am thinking about hooking up my vintage Polk Audio SDA SRS 2.3 speakers to this awesome device.

No problems with receiver, itself, but doesn't properly integrate with 2013 Series 9 Samsung plasma. Everytime TV is turned off, audio resets to TV Speakers, and I have to manually reset. Have set up properly with ARC and AnyNet.
