Great Sound easy to install highly recommended. Highly recommend this radio

I use this radio primarily with Bluetooth to play audio books stored on my iPhone 5 and music from a 64gb USB thumb drive. I don't use the radio much. The Bluetooth integration is good with a couple of exceptions: The connection is now no longer automatic so I need to navigate through my iPhone and manually connect Bluetooth every time I start the engine. At first this wasn't a problem so I am not sure if this is from a recent iOS update or something else. Also, once I am BT connected my audio plays automatically (5-10 seconds later) even through I pause the playback before turning the engine off. Many of the MP3s on my thumb drive do not play even though they are compressed to within the recommended parameters. Some root folders don't appear at all while some folders appear but the music within those folders do not. The time between turning the engine on and starting playback of a previously selected track is about 10 seconds. Switching between EQ settings requires way too much eyes off the road behavior using the multipurpose dial. Because of this I generally leave my audio books too bassy or my music too tinny. Since the dial functions not only to navigate through the menu but as the only volume control, it is possible to be in a situation where you are not able to lower the volume when menu mode is active. Dialing through a large amount of music while driving is awkward. First the browse button is pressed to enter the search mode. Then the multi-dial is turned to iterate through the top artist-level folders. Once a folder is chosen, the big dial gets pushed in to select the album-level folders, and then some more dialing and a press to select and play the track. If the dial is left untouched for a few seconds the browsing mode times out to return back to the default mode thus forcing you to start all over again. Meanwhile I have ended up planted into the back of the truck in front of me or I am 30 feet above the ground over the bridge railing.

I was looking for an affordable after-market stereo, and Pioneer fit the bill. I have a 2000 Honda Accord with decent speakers, but no modern connections. This unit does a fine job, though I've had a minor glitch with bluetooth, pretty regularly buzzing while playing music for just a few moments (via iPhone 6 Plus). USB not a problem. Radio reception somewhat improved over stock radio. Good value for excellent after-market stereo!

Bluetooth works well. Looks good. Not very easy to program. What ruins this product for me is the brightness display. I have it on "10" and I CANNOT SEE the time or radio info during the day. Only at night or if very cloudy.

I would recommend this radio to anyone because of the bluetooth, CD player, Apple iPod & ready in dash receiver, I no longer have to hold my phone in my hand to speak to anyone because I can speak to through the radio.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a stereo receiver to replace my car's stock system. Inexpensive and all the features I wanted - CD, USB, and bluetooth. I didn't need video display for GPS. The bluetooth pairs easily and I like the functionality - as long as bluetooth is turned on in my phone it automatically starts playing my last activity where it left off(podcast, music, spotify, youtube, etc). The hands-free feature I didn't even realize came packaged and was installed by geek squad - I find that was a nice surprise, it works great. You can set the text and button colors separately to essentially any color you choose. Biggest con to this system is that the display is dim to the point that it is unreadable in bright sunlight. It works fine at night or even for the most part on an overcast day, but don't plan on reading your stereo display during the summer at all.

I purchased this online and the Geek Squad installed it in Savannah GA. Sounds and looks great and you can't beat the price for the features included. I have a 2008 Dodge Dakota and I did have to purchase the wiring harness to make it compatible but it was worth the additional 80.00 or so to ensure it was done professionally.

I really love the functionality or this product. It's plenty powerful and the sound quality is awesome. The external mic for hands free talking is so easy to install and use. I am very pleased with the product and am thinking of buying another for my wife's car.

we bought this to replace a cassette deck in a truck we'd bought for our son. The radio is decent enough but the display is very dim and hard to see in the sunlight. bluetooth works well and the sound quality for phone calls using hands free feature is good.

The system works great, have added and deleted bluetooth devices, mp3's from CD or USB, radio station programming, etc. I've had some trouble with all the settings being done from the one large knob, trying to set one and accidentally twist it slightly and be on a different item, ie trying to adjust bass, instead of a straight push you twist the knob a little and adjust treble instead.

I researched this deck before I bought it and all of the websites give it at least 4.5 stars. There were few to no 1 star reviews. It gives great sound and more options than most in this price range, including led lighting that you can set to 1 color or have it rotate. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We put this stereo in my daughter's car and she loves it. We looked at more expensive stereos and thus works great in comparison. Has plenty of options and she loves the way that it lights up and changes colors. She says that it is easy to use and the remote is very handy. Would buy this for my next car.
