    I updated my stereo so I could use my iPod and my iPhone music. I was happy with the proformance of the stereo. Even without upgrading the speakers.

    This model was one of the least expensive units on display at the store, and is far more than adequate. Unless you need a built-in Bluetooth or HD, this will get the job done. Plays CDs, accepts anything with a USB connection (I.e. music from your iPhone through a lightning to USB cable) or a standard headphone-sized jack (3.5mm jack). The changing colors aren't necessary to me, but it makes the unit look fancier than it really is. Overall, it gets the job done.
