I have used Pioneer receivers for years. I retired my last one because it no longer had the ability to connect to todays gadgets, otherwise I would still be using it. This one looks to be the same great quality and hopefully longevity. Awesome features and performance so far.

Mostly happy with this item but zone 2 is difficult to figure out and we have to manually turn the receiver to get to zone two which doesn't even operate our outdoor speakers.

So far, I haven't found any flaws with this receiver. It does a great job with both audio and video. Excellent sound and clarity. Provides a great picture, whether form a cable receiver or a Blu-ray player. Surround sound is excellent with numerous options and plenty of power!

The sound is good and it hooked up to my television with no problem. When I tested my 5 speakers, they tested fine. But when I turn the tv on, only the front 3 get any sound.

This is a great receiver, especially if you find a good sale. It's easy to connect to my home theatre system and easy to use. It's pricy if you don't catch a sale, though.

Great receiver exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend this receiver for anyone desiring a mid range receiver. This is my second purchase of this brand.

This was a great buy and i am very happy i purchased it!

I purchased this as my old receiver had died and I needed a new one. I shopped around and found this one. Setup was easy, and it sounds great in my 18x25 room.

This unit was so easy to set up and operating it is a cake walk. The setup DVD was a huge help in figuring out all the functions of this unit. It even does things that I was prepared to purchase other item to do.

This is a great receiver and has plenty of HDMI ports. My only complaint is that it does not have an optical audio out port.

Great sound quality for my new Samsung TV. Love watching movies in 5.1 surround sound. Also Pandora sounds great.

all in all, it's a great product for the price, it's a GREAT DEAL! Sounds awesome with the speakers I purchased.

The product was very easy to install as well utilization of the features.

Bought this unit to replace a tired Sony receiver. Purchased based on a demo at nearby Best Buy store. Salesperson took time to point out features of the product and pricing was excellent.

Was due to replace my old pioneer receiver for one that had HDMI capabilities. The VSX-43 was easy to setup, so much less clutter behind it without the old component cables.

This receiver has more features than I will likely use, but I would rather have too much than not enough. Plenty of HDMI inputs that makes connecting devises very easy.

Mostly a good receiver with a few nice features, including 3d pass-through which seemed to work well. It also features 4k support, including 4k upscaling which is nice, although I don't have a 4k tv, so haven't been able to try it out. I did have a minor complaint in that it only has 1 component input, and it doesn't convert the input from analog signals like the component to digital hdmi output, so i was forced to add a bulky set of component cables between my tv and the receiver. This was only a small issue for what is overall a nice receiver

I would say its night and day above the Panasonic that it replaced. Finally surround sound that sounds great. Microphone easy to use for set up
