I am a long term Sony guy and this is my 1st Pioneer. Chose it as for me 7.1, 4K and 3D mean I am future proofed plus it was a replacement for a faulty Sony kit that was obsolete. Even though I got this unit by default, I have to say this Pioneer is excellent. Recommend it to anyone looking for these specs. Enjoy.

I really liked this item I had been wanted to buy a stereo but di no know how to start looking for one since there is so many brands . So one day I decided to go to Best Buy and I took my time with a nice salesman that took his time to explain and made me listen to different receivers than like about I went back again and this time I already knew what I wanted.

Got this receiver as the base for my home theater and am very impressed with the power and functionality as well as ease of setup and use.

Great receiver...easy to set up and the sound quality IS GREAT. It is also a little more compact than an older Yamaha I had.

Love this product and ease of setting up. Great to be able to control tv, surround and other apps. by phone from any room.

The recieiver works as expected, set up took less than fifteen minutes excluding mounting my speakers. The calibration mic option was awesome since it took out the need to manually configure individual speakers. Would be good if firmware updates could be completed without the need of a USB drive since the unit is network ready.

A great AV receiver for its price and a step up from my previous receiver that was a non-ELITE Pioneer receiver. Noticeable improvement in sound quality. I really like the Airplay function. Auto MCACC is pretty accurate with proper phase control. FYI: I have it setup (5.1) with Mirage OS3-CC, Nanosats, and Klipsch Sub-12. Working pretty well with this setup. Soon to upgrade the front channels with Mirage OS3-SAT to make a 7.1 setup. Overall loving it!

Purchased an open box system and it's been great. easy to set up and have had no issues with it at all.

Simple set up. Amazing sound. Paired with a Samsung TV and DVD player it is amazing

A little confusing how to set this up with the DVD player, PS3, Xbox, etc and have everything funnel through the one source so a single remote can control everything. The confusion is probably mostly my inexperience, but it seems like they could make this easier.

It is a nice receiver for the price, I picked it up on sale for $299.99. The only problem I have with it is that the phone app always messes up and I wish you could listen to internet radio in Zone 2.You can only listen to the radio, cd, or Sat/Cable.

Got for my son for graduation and easy setup and easy use for his home

Went to purchase a receiver but was on a budget. The salesman was very helpful and showed me a couple options. This one was leaps and bounds better than anything else in its price range

The set up was very quick with a great sound what else can I say.

I am not a tech savvy person. Got this home and hooked it up quickly. It has more features than I will probably ever use, but the sound is great and it serves my purposes! Love it.

I purchased this receiver as an upgrade from my old Pioneer. Pioneer is a true audiophile product when it comes to receiver technology. these guys are spot on with discrete amplification, s/n ratio and seperation. I would put any leading manufacturer up against Pioneers Elite line.
