I have had this for nearly a year. Loved the way it sounded with my older Polk towers. Recently upgraded towers and the whole system sounds better. 7.1 really gives you that immersive theatre sound. Music sounds so good even at low volumes.

Got it as open box as a steal at $350. Sounds great. I tried going for the bargan denon and it just sounded cheap and thin.

I would love to be able to give a great detailed review. However, I'm note a tech person. This receiver is as described. I purchased it for the Bluetooth capability and front USB input port; that's all. It sounds great! It works great after a month of use. Connectivity is super fast. I play music on my iPhone and turn on the receiver, as long as Bluetooth was last played ,I don't have to press any buttons on the remote, it connects flawlessly. Compared to my 2010 pioneer a/v receiver, this receiver is SUPER SIMPLE TO SETUP, CHECK SPEAKER PLACEMENT, SET TONE AND SET SPEAKER VOLUMES...front, sub, height, & center. The remote control has minimal buttons & is simple, also. The remote has all the buttons most non-tech people like me love. I can grow with this receiver. I highly recommend this receiver!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an excellent receiver. I have it running everything in my home theatre setup. 3 front speakers, 2 middle and 2 rear as well as a subwoofer. Also have every device running into this receiver with the output going to a 4k projector and it works flawlessly.

I love the look and sound. Easy to use and very nice.

We replace an old Pioneer SVX-70 with this new Elite Pioneer. Our sound system is a 5.1. The sound is a definite improvement from our old receiver. Our Geek Squad installer Carlos, was outstanding. He was very professional and courteous. He had all of the protective gear for the Covid Pandemic.

Had a Pioneer receiver for 21 years; bought it at Montgomery Ward. Great product so bought another Pioneer. Wow, what an upgrade from an old unit. With my Bose speakers and Velodyne sub the sound quality of my system makes me want to listen to music every hour of every day.

Since this is my updated receiver, I found it so easy to hook up with the HDMI cable. It has eliminated all those cables that had my last receiver ( VSX - D1S) that I purchase overseas. This receiver does so many things. This was a great gift from my wife for Father’s Day.

Purchased this receiver when the one we had for our home theater went out after 22 years. It has more features than the former one and was a little more difficult to set up, but it is working fine and we are pleased with it.

We replaced a cheap Sony receiver with this one and I was rather surprised at how much better it sounded.

This receiver was a step up from my Sony. If you're looking into getting something simple for 5.2 and thinking of getting into 7.2 to for the future, or even adding 2 Atmos speakers, get this and be ready for the future.

This home theater receiver is worth every penny. This system makes it sound like you are inside of a movie theater. Best choice I ever made when I choose the Pioneer receiver.

Bought this for our new "mam cave" basement to go with the 4K TV we just got. This receiver is great. It works well with all the speakers we have. It has all the hookups we need and then some. The price is so good that you can't go wrong.

My husband and i updated our whole sound system and tv this fall and this reciever was so easy we set it up ourselves with some help from our son.Love it,the options of adding rear speakers is very nice

In my mind Pioneer is still the best audio receiver. I have had 4 receivers over my life and 3 of them have been Pioneer. This one was very easy to set up and the new remotes have far fewer buttons which is very easy to learn.

I got this to replace my old pioneer receiver with one that had 4k. This receiver is very capable of powering my Bose surround speakers and my new 4K UHD 70 inch TV. Pioneer has been my receiver of choice for the last 40 years.

This is excellent receiver for the money ! Built quality and pretty powerful amplifier. Except my speakers are demanding more ... had to upgrade!
