The menu on the receiver has improved and is even more user friendly. Just play in your speakers and devices and you assign the inputs for analog and digital connection. Does 7.2.2 for Dolby atoms and was a steal and that price

Tis receiver ranks right up with the higher priced ones. Has all bells great features just little less power . However, it still delivers superior sound and the up scaled picture is great. HIGHLY recommend.

Easy set up for a beginner, many great options that allows me to easily play multiple devices. Buttons on unit are covered which is great to protect the equipment given I have 2 small children

This is a great receiver. Set up was very easy and the OSD was much improved than previous models. Built in Wi-Fi also makes the airplay and built in Chromecast much easier to set up and use.

Recently purchased so do not know longevity, Sounds great but needed assistance from Best Buy Geek Squad to hook up. Also could not register the purchase without calling customer technical support. Has three years warranty which is excellent.

I had trouble with the first receiver i got, but customer service was great and got another one sent to me immediately. Was easy to setup and has worked great since i received this one.

Going from a cheap low end "this will get me by" reciever to this blew me away. If you need a receiver and need good power at a good price, watch for this one to go on sale and grab one.

An upgrade on my previous Pioneer receiver that was state of the art 8 years ago. With the 8 speakers I already had there is so much more depth

2 zone powerful receiver, app is easy to use and where I mounted my rack, using my phone as a remote makes it extremely easy to use.

This product was easy to set up. The sound from the various attached audio sources is really good. This amp/tuner is hooked up just for audio. It is not attached to our TV.

This receiver rocks! It is everything I hoped it would be and then some. It has all the latest connectivity features that I need. The power of this receiver is plenty. Movies and music sound awesome and I actually had to reduce sub level because the bass was so loud but tight. I am very impressed with this thing! Pioneer really did their homework. There’s a lot of great brand name receivers out there but there’s no need to look any further than this one. It really brought my Bose speakers and klipsch sub back to life! I hear things that I never noticed before with my Sony receiver. Great buy

I purchased this receiver to replace an old Elite VSX 72txv that was 11 years old. The old receiver's left surround amp had died. Looked around and was interested in switching to the Yamaha but was intrigued by the class D amp. This receiver is a great value at the sale price. I like the onscreen interface and the connectivity. The remote is much more basic than previous Pioneers with the expectation that you rely on the onscreen menus. Things I wish are different is to have the more advanced MCACC Pro or Advance that is found on the higher end receivers. There are only 3 EQ setting memory slots. I wish it had more power when all channels are driven. I also wish that the display on the front of the unit were similar to the different brands with the ability to display two full rows of text. Pioneer hasn't changed the display in two decades.

Got a great deal on this receiver it works great with my 701 bose tower speaker. I need good receiver and got great one. Sounds like I Am At theater.

Very easy to set up. Very friendly remote. The high tones are more distinct than on my older receiver. Love the surround sound on this system.

This receiver is full of features, some I have not fully explored yet, but the sound processing and ease of programming is a definite plus. Has many of the features of more expensive units.

I wanted a high powered receiver with at least 5.1 channels, a phono jack, 3D pass through and all the latest connectivity and features. This Pioneer fit the bill and more!

Excellent home theater option. I use it to power my home theater as well as a zone 2 system on the rear deck. It allows me to use my IPAD to play my Itunes library outside while people enjoy the football game inside

Functions as described and connection to TV and surround sound easier then anticipated with 3 different Brands.

Great sound quality. My speakers sound crisp and clean like they were made to. Pricey for a reason, but once you buy it, you will understand why.
