Its remote and key layout are simple, easy to use, and reliable, and it has the full functionality that we need for home theater, audio, and everything else. I was frustrated when our old one got fried when the lights came back on after a blackout (our surge protector failed us), but the happy upside is a terrific and far superior new receiver.

Great AV Receiver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a Yamaha unit. This Pioneer unit works great. Whereas the Yamaha could only output the same video source to two different TVs, this Pioneer is capable of sending different video signals to the two outputs. The one disappointment is that the Yamaha Bluetooth was capable of transmitting as well as receiving whereas the Pioneer can only receive a Bluetooth signal but can't transmit a Bluetooth signal. Thus, I can't use Bluetooth headphones without adding a Bluetooth transmitter to my setup.
