Bought the Pioneer VSX-LX103 to replace a Pioneer VSX-1124K since the 1124K is not compliant with HDCP 2.2 4K copy protection. Seems to be doing a great job and sounds great. Gave it 4 stars because it doesn’t have some features that the 1124K has like 2 HDMI out connections and I like the app for the 1124K better.

Had a Best Buy In-Home Advisor come for a free estimate and proposal for upgrading the surround sound in my great room. This is the Receiver that was in the proposal. (upgrade included new in- ceiling speakers. center channel speaker and wireless subwoofer. Had everything programmed into a new universal remote. Sound is fantastic.

Needed to replace a cheaper Sony 7.1 receiver that lost HDMI out capabilities. Great price. Power output is adequate for medium room. Built in Chromecast audio is a bit finicky and doesn't always connect. Otherwise, it's been great - even decided to add a second sub and upgrade speakers to utilize Atmos capabilities.

The receiver works great. I got a deal because it was an open box and minus the remote. I pick up a universal remote that works well. Hook it up to my Dolby Atmos speaker an get great sound. I do have some problems connecting it to my Echo Dot via bluetooth, but I will eventually figure that out.

This is a great receiver. Plenty if hookups for alll of your equipment. Easy to use, highly recommend.
The special 2 way USB port is fantastic for automatically starting multiple pieces of equipment.
Only thing I’d change, wish it had a full printed owners manual but alas they are a thing of the past.

We purchased this receiver to replace an older (diff brand) and dying unit. It included a mic for calibrating and easy to setup. We haven't heard our sub woofer blast like it can with our 2 other receivers. This unit has the power to drive quality sound through our Bose speakers.

Needed help to connect everything into back of receiver, but then good to go. Like that I can run the TV through this when watching good movies, but can bypass & just use TV speakers for everyday watching. Love the sound when using my speakers.

This receiver delivered perfect sound and the room sensing technology is incredible. It only got 4 stars as it did not interface with Alexa, as I was led to beleive.
If that's not an issue for you, then this is the best receiver you'll find for the price.

I was going to purchase another receiver but the store tech showed me the Pioneer that was on sale and had many more features that I would be able to use. The Pioneer was exactly what I needed and a much better deal for the price. Very happy with my selection.

I have to say I am very pleased with the Pioneer receiver. I have never purchased any before now. I bought it because of the price and I needed something that would turn my family room into a movie room when I need it to be. And it has not disappointed. I love it!!

I purchased this receiver for $225 as an open box item. It sounds beautiful, but was underpowered for the size of my family room, 24' by 18' with cathedral ceiling. I returned it and bought a Pioneer SCLX 502 and it has plenty of headroom.

I’m Not a techno nerd but trying to update my home. So I dove in with both feet. Works so well with the 5.1 bowers and Wilkins speakers installed in my ceiling. Can feel the action movies in my la z boy chair. Chick flicks not so much

I was looking at a mid range surround sound and have always used Pioneer for my receivers. After checking reviews, I decided to give this unit a try. So far, no complaints. Easy set up, flexible options and good sound.

After 10 years with another model receiver, I was happy to be able to get a Pioneer Receiver of such good quality and ease of use. It is now providing the sound for a new LG OLED 65" TV.
Very happy with the purchase.

Bought this for a friend who was looking to upgrade from a low end Onkyo. He couldn’t be happier with the performance. He had never experienced atoms or Dtsx audio. Plenty of power with a crisp clean sound.

the receiver is great for the price. It has dual zones. I had to replace my older system, it does everything I need it to do very well. It did not come with a manual. I had to download it.
