Good unit for the price

Took me a while to get all the settings just right but it's awesome! I bought it online on black Friday and picked it up at the store a few hours later. To my surprise, it was an additional 100 off from the already low online price. Great unit at a great price. No complaints yet and hope none will arise.

Has all the power and 4K HDMI ports you'll need!

It's strong points are all of it's HDMI ports support 4K and HDCP 2.2, for UHD support as well. Calibration is easily performed using the including MCACC microphone. If you're looking for a strong AV unit for under $1,000, then this is it.

One thing I need to call pioneer about are software updates. First time I called they said I needed to hook up the receiver to my home computer as they can’t push out updates automatically. That makes no sense so I need to call again.

None have ever failed, just upgraded for newer technology. This one (Elite VSX-302) was the easiest to set up. The build quality and performance are outstanding.
