With so many options it was necessary for me to do my research. The system has all the bells and whistles! It is WiFi and Bluetooth enabled which was important for my audio listening enjoyment.

Only had for a month now and it works perfect sound quality Is amazing only con is that it can be challenging to set up and sync all the other devices. Still playing around with the features

purchased this receiver to set up my home theater and it pairs wonderfully with the six speakers I purchased. wish my home theater was bigger so I could really turn up the volume :)

This receiver has everything I need. The set up was quick and easy and the sound is awesome.

We hooked up our satellite system and a blue ray ultra HD DVD player to the Pioneer redeiver, and the sounds we heard after it basicly set itself up, were awesome.

I bought this to replace a more expensive pioneer receiver that had started to shut off all the time. It lasted six years and was great. This unit is cheaper with fewer features. Not bad for price.

Newest lower end elite model, this vsx-lx 101 sounds terrible, it has a lot of Onkyo influences. I returned it after a day, and bought the elite sc-91, brand new, for $499, which is normally $999. It has a class D3 amp, and the sound is tremendous, the only bad thing is it lacks Dts:x, but the sound is so powerful that it isn't a deal breaker. The SC-91 weighs 32 pounds, to the vsx-lx 101, which weighs approximately 10 pounds less. The power supply in the 91 is a monster, and the advertised 120 W per channel is accurate. If you can still get the 91, since there getting phased out for newer models, do not hesitate! If not and your a pioneer fan, I would wait for the new SC line to be released, or get the vsx-lx 301, but definitely pass on the 101 model. The last great thing about the 91, you can run it all day at high volumes, and the unit never breaks a sweat, it's just as cool as when you turn it on for the first time of the day. I also returned the onkyo tx-nr646 and the Denon avr x2200w, which couldn't come close to competing with the SC-91,

This is a very nice product for the money and has a great sound I would tell a friend to consider it

I cranked up the new Star Wars movie and this thing created quite a punch in my house nice bass lows and wonderful crisp sound to it.
