I couldnt be happier with my new pioneer elite 980w. I had a pionner vr1020 before i upgraded and the sound quality is on point. I dont have wireless speakers so i cant comment on that part. The setup was easy to do. I originally purchased a sony and returned it to get this. Again i couldn't be happier with my pioneer

This receiver was included in a surround sound package I purchased a week ago in Best Buy. I must say, the thing I like about it most is that it is so simple to operate. Some receivers out there have so many options it tends to get a little confusing for the user. The amount of power it provides for my Surround Sound Speaker system is perfect. I also like the amount of HDMI input options as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with this Receiver and would recommend.

Easy hookup of my components (i.e. TV, Blu Ray player, Roku and Gaming System by HDMI. Love that I can play my Ipod with this receiver over bluetooth I have 5.1 channels speakers, but now can upgrade to 7.1 surround sound speakers when I want Movies are once again excellent sounding through this receiver!

Easy wiring, easy on screen setup, Intuitive, I rarely even have to use my remote compared to my old receiver.

No problems so far with this guy. Menu is a little daunting if you are not using it with a TV, but workable.

The Reciever was easy to hook up to my receiver. Works just like it supposed to. Bluetooth is awesome!

Great surround sound system, but disappointed that it did not have a built in DVD player, so we had to purchase a DVD player.

The Pioneer receiver holds my system together. The sound is alive though my speakers are 10+ years old.

I was looking to purchase another brand, but when I saw the Elite and began my research, there was no denying that dollar for dollar this was a better investment. This AV is even Atmos capable, and that is a plus seeing how most recordings are jumping from 5.1 to Atmos Dolby, bypassing 7.1. I had to remove the legs from the device, they are just about 1/2 inch in height, but that is my only complaint - not much of a complaint.

I expect great products from pioneer and this unit does not disappoint. Great features, tons of power.

the sound quality is excelent you cant go wrong with pioneer.run them on my klipsch speaker
