Pitch Perfect is one of my favorite movies... like ever! So of course I was excited for the sequel, and still excited when they said they are making a third one. Love that there is a digital copy so I can watch anywhere. Though I did enjoy this sequel, I felt that I didn't know a lot of the music, which was a comment Anna Kendrick aka Beca Mitchell made in an interview. Could have gone without the creepy/disturbing Fat Amy and Bumber story line. There was a couple new characters that were too odd to explain (the Hispanic chick). Did love that the who group got together, and was able to beat Das Sound Machine! Bringing all the former members of Barden Bellas together. Can you say SISTERHOOD?!

As with any sequel it rarely lives up to the original. It is the same for Perfect Pitch 2 as the story is not as believable as the first one. But it is still funny and the music is exceptional. Is it as good as the first? No but it is close. I was disappointed that the Treble Makers did not have a bigger impact to the story. They were pretty much an after thought to the story which is too bad considering they were the primary antagonist in the first. But you will have fun and laugh and in the end that is what a movie like this is really all about. A great escape from reality for a few hours, a couple jokes you will want to remember and a few tunes you will be humming to yourself after.

If you liked to the first film, then you will probably like this film as well. This sequel pretty much hits the same story and character beats as the first film with the only new wrinkle being Anna Kendrick's character's prospects away from the Bellas. Hailee Steinfeld fills in as the newbie trying to find her place. Brittany Snow takes over as the driving force behind the Bellas. Most of the other Bellas are featured much less than the first film. The music continues to be a highlight of the film with the German group's compositions being quite elaborate and spectacular. All in all, this film will satisfy fans of the first film, but do little to change the minds of critics.

Pitch Perfect was a true underdog story back in 2012. The unexpected hit comedy hit during the peak of the Glee phenomenon, but was largely promoted by online campaigns and word-of-mouth, inspiring not only a best-selling soundtrack but a wave of sing-a-long screenings. It's a fun, spirited college romp in the mold of Bring ItOn; the outsiders must come together to win when everyone says they can't. So what's left to do for the eagerly-anticipated sequel? Not much, apparently. While funny at times and those crazy Barden Bellas still cool to hang out with, Pitch Perfect 2 is like a perfectly decent cover version of its predecessor.

I love this movie, the music, the story, the cast it's all great. It was great seeing Flula Borg in this film because I love his youtube videos. He fits in so perfectly with Pitch Perfect and I hope he is back in the next one. The musical performances were once again great and the movie was still very funny and enjoyable. I did not care for the flashlight song that was supposed to be the grand finale I guess but other than that great. It's awesome seeing Katy Segal in here too. LOVE LOVE LOVE her. I grew up watching her on Married with Children and Sons of Anarchy and she just gets better and better.

Pitch Perfect 2 doesn't take itself even the least bit serious. That's a necessary approach considering that, at its core, the film lacks even a smidgen of creativity. It gets by on its cast camaraderie and endless flow of humor, which helps mask the very much cliché story details through which the movie maneuvers. Fans of the original should enjoy this follow-up considering that it maintains a core approach from which it never deviates. Universal's Blu-ray release of Pitch Perfect 2 features top-end video and audio. Supplements are many in number but a bit superficial in quality. Recommended.

I usually am a little leery about watching sequels, but after watching this one I was amazed. I absolutely loved this. I mean how do you do better then Pitch Perfect simple, you make another. Fat Amy is just as hilarious in this one as she was in the first and the new group, Das Machine, the Bellas compete against are unreal. The first performance Das Machine does I thought was the best in the whole movie.I strongly recommend this movie and without giving too much away will tell you they have everyone from the first cast plus a few more. If you liked the first Pitch Perfect then this is a must buy.

The Bella's are back after dominating the A Capella collegiate circuit for the past 3 years the ladies must find their sound and bounce back from a terrible outing that cost them their chance for a fourth collegiate title. If you love the singing and mash ups from the first one then you will certainly enjoy this one. The Bella's up the stakes and this time the competition is International. More songs, new characters, the Green Bay Packers and hours of bonus footage what more could you "Aca" ask for?

Very good movie - i was and remain a Glee Fan. I enjoy shows and movies portraying great singers, motivated for different and similar reasons. I love how music itself in our society like food brings people of all cultural differences together. Music played and sang in both Pitch Perfect were pretty good choices. I'm a competitive person in most things and love to sing and dance, my singing is best in the shower lol. Nice addition to personal video library

Pitch Perfect 2 does what a good sequel should: it continues on in much the same way as the original. More outstanding music, plus the addition of a completely over the top German professional acapella group, "Das Sound Machine." It lacks some of the charm of the original, and the final number of the Bellas didn't have the same punch as the first time around, but it does have a particularly effective and memorable moment.

This follow up to the original movie is just a bit off from the first, but enjoyable none the less.

Fun movie but not as good as the first film. Definitely worth a watch if you were a fan of the first.

I was forced to watch the first one when I went on a date night with the wife and usually I hate movies she drags me too but surprisingly I thought it was great. I was excited for part two and I wasn't disappointed. I didn't think it was as good as the first one but when it was over I was glad I watched it. I would say the best thing about the movie is just about all the cast from the first one is back.

I was skeptical about seeing this because I enjoyed the first one so much, I thought I could only be let down. I'm happy to say that I was mistaken. Elizabeth Banks did a great job of capturing the heart of the first movie while also providing as much hilarity. There were some recycled jokes that did not hit as hard the second time around, but overall the movie was funny and enjoyable.

My wife and daughter enjoyed this movie at the theater. I surprised them by purchasing this movie and they were excited to see it again at home immediately. The picture and sound quality are as good as I could have hoped for. The movie was enjoyable and worth the watch. I prefer the first Pitch Perfect over this but, if your a fan of the first, you're likely to enjoy this as well.

Probably the best and most quotable of the trilogy, the Barden Bellas are back. This movie follows the trials and triumphs of the A capella group after getting humiliated in front of the President of the United States, trying to get their own tour back and winning the World Championships - a feat that no American team has done before!

This is definenlty a Fantastic Sequel to the first Pitch Perfect, it is even funnier than the first , and it was a great value at Best buy....All the characters are hilarious and i really like the singing and the songs. I pre ordered mine at Best Buy and received a free t-shirt with the deal, so all in all i got the best deal there was. I'd go out and buy it ...enjoy

This movie really lived up to the expectations left by the hilarious original. Anna Kendrick was spectacular as always, and pretty much the entire ensemble brought something to the movie here. The songs will be stuck in your head for days after you watch it. Also be sure to watch the post credits sequence with Bumper, it is well worth waiting for.

When I first heard about these Pitch Perfect movies I thought they were some silly Glee kind of thing, but my sister sat me down and made me watch the first one and I loved it. This one is funny and cute, and the songs are entertaining, though I don't think it quite lived up to the original. Overall I really enjoy the film though.

PP II is almost as good as the first movie. There are a couple of scenes, like Fat Amy's song to the former Treblemaker and a couple of uncomfortable scenarios that went on a bit too long. Those are the only draw backs. The singing is impressive, and they did tone down Fat Amy's singing voice for this one...
