In my opinion, Pitch Perfect 2's story wasn't as good as that of its' predecessor. It seemed to me like they resorted to the ridiculous for a laugh. However, I thought the music was better. So if you watch it for the music, you're in good shape. If you want to be entertained by a great plot and good dialogue, and great comedy...don't bother.

Bought this for a friend. She loved it! The Pitch Perfect series doesn't take itself too seriously, I think they know how stupid it is to try and make a cappella singing seem cool, much like Glee did. (sorry to all you a cappella fans out there, I just don't believe that they are selling out enormous venues for that kind of competition)

This movie is amazing. I saw it in theaters and the moment I left the theater I was like I'm definitely getting this on blu-Ray when it comes out. I bought this right when Best Buy opened on release date. Went home and watched it that day. The quality and the movie never gets old. Recommend this for anyone looking for a good time.

No one ever expected a sequel when the original came out but it was a runaway hit! It seems the directors weren't expecting it either as there are definitely parts where it feels like they are trying too hard but it is still incredibly entertaining because of the fantastic acting, characters, and of course the music.

The second Pitch Perfect movie continues the funny escapades of the female college a cappella group as they continue to grow and bond together learning good life lessons along the way. My early teens daughter and her friends really enjoy the series. We have the third movie as well!

This movie is very funny, I found myself laughing histeriacally. Just a warning this movie is not for children under 13, lots of inappropriate references, so parents if you not prepared for that don't let your kids watch. If you are good with that you will find it entertaining albeit different from the first film.

Pitch Perfect 2 is entertaining, especially if you enjoy the music. The jokes are more forced, and there isn't enough about the relationships. This is a nice set for fans of Pitch Perfect. Digital copy is good for travel. This is a movie you can enjoy without having to pay close attention.

My family is crazy over both the Pitch Perfect movies and can't wait for the next one to come out!! The story line and the characters are great and they leave you waiting to see what will happen next. The first one was definitely better than the second one to me, although I did really like them both!

My husband and I do a lot of traveling and we have watched Pitch Perfect dozens of times on those trips. We were so excited to hear there was going to be a sequel, but you never know with a second movie...this one was fabulous! Now this has become a permanent fixture in our collection!

Bought this movie because my girlfriend already had part 1 and now she wanted to add part 2 to the collection. She liked the movie by the way, but made the comment that 1 was way better. Should've kept all the original actors! Still a good movie if you're a Pitch Perfect fan.

This movie is funny & catchy! They did a great job making it fun & entertaining without making it super corny, it's definitely going to be one of the movies that stands tye test of time!

Sometimes sequels don't come out as good as their original movie, but I was happy to get this movie on sale, love the actresses, and I enjoy watching and hearing acapella groups with my family, whether its pop music and or seasonal holiday music. You won't be disappointed with this squeal.

PP2 was a great follow-up to the surprise hit original. You saw all of the original Bellas return and tackle the world of accapella. If you are looking for a low-key, entertaining family film with great comedy and a cameo appearance from some Green Bay Packers, this is the choice for you.

I bought this as a gift for my wife because she loved the first one. We both really enjoyed it, and it definitely had its moments, but the first one was definitely better. I had no idea Reggie Watts was in it (the underground sing-off part), so that was a nice surprise for me!

All the usual characters are back but the story seems to share less new music and focus more on the rivalry with the foreign team at the world's. Not a bad job at all and it did enough business to lead to a Pitch Perfect 3 sequel in the future. Just not as satisfying at PP 1.

I was super excited for this movie to be released, but I have to say sequels don't always live up to their predecessors. I think there were some good songs chosen for the movie and the cast is awesome. Hopefully for the next movie will have the same cast and up the interest.

i was impressed since usually the sequels aren't as good as the predecessor but this was hilarious!!!! the cast was amazing of coarse and the sining was pretty good! i might be a guy but i still enjoy some good music

I got this movie because my sister liked the first one and I watched it with her I thought the first one was funny so I bought this for to watch together. All though this movie is funny and it was fun to watch with my sister we kinda both liked the first one a little more

I purchased two copies of this movie (one for myself and one for a friend's birthday gift and we both loved the movie. It was funnier than the first Pitch Perfect movie and I liked the music a lot. This movie's humor appeals to people in every age range. I would strongly recommend it.
