    The game is crazy! You play as either a zombie, or a plant. It's a fun parody of sorts of the current modern-FPS. Don't take that as a bash on the genre - the game is a great shooter, just with some fun sprinkled all over it. Progression through individual characters is a fun thing to keep you occupied while you keep playing. Garden Ops is the PvZ 'Horde Mode' and it's a ton of fun. Docked one star for microtransactions. It's possible to get enough coins for the major packs, but it's unnecessarily difficult.

    Played it on day one. Great game for someone just getting into the fps genre. Servers were a little up and down on day one but supposedly a patchw as coming to fix those problems. Let's just hope they follow through.

    My son purchased this game with his birthday money. I did not look closely enough at the requirements. When we got home we were disappointed that it requires internet to play. Just a heads up!

    My son really enjoys this game and was very happy to receive it for Christmas. It annoyed me that I had to then buy an XBox Live Gold membership in order to play it but what can you do?

    PvZ Garden Warefare is really about a 3 1/2 star game. The gameplay is lots of fun. Playing split screen with a friend or family member is a blast. Hoping online is really good too. The gameplay has good balance and any fans of shooters will feel at home. It has a nice dynamic of being able to build things as you go along. The price is a little steeper than it should be for what you get, but if this ever drops to $19.99 it would be a great value.
