I purchased this for my Olympus f2.8 12-40 pro zoom lense and have not been disappointed. The lense cover for this lense can be difficult to attach quickly directly to the lense itself but no added issues with this filter. Once attached the cover stays firm. I have not noticed any quality issues related to my photos and really have forgotten it was on the lense.

Hi all, I knew this was a price conscious product when I purchased it compared to a more higher end filter, however for it's price point the quality is minimal. Amazon basics will likely be a better option since this caused extreme ghosting in some photos I have taken with this on top of my lens.

you should have some kind of filter to protect your lens

I got rid off an older filter that was constantly fogging up and decided to upgrade to this one. Since I switched I haven't had any issues with fogging. The filter works as protection against accidental bumps or scratches of the camera lens and also works as a UV filter. All of my images have been sharp and I have no complaints about this filter.

Liked the filter, but there was not a full stock of filters. I finally found the correct size filter in the Best Buy in Annapolis, MD while visiting my sister. The tech staff were helpful.

This is the second Platinum filter I've purchased in the past few months, and both of them already have very obvious chips in the coating. I've had a couple of these in the past that seemed to be fine, and I've had other brands that lasted for years with no problems. I'm very careful with my lenses and have not had any issues with filters until now.

I purchased this filter to protect the front element of my newly-acquired Nikon Macro lens and it indeed offers good protection against dirt and scratches at a good price.

I think it is doing what it is supposed to be doing. I am not sure. But if it is protecting my moment lens than I am really happy!

You’re getting a good UV filter. Nothing more or nothing less but it’s exactly what I expected something to protect my lens from getting ruined

I haven't used this filter much yet, but it appears to control flare well and the metal threads are clean and smooth, Very solid value.

Fit great. Protected the lens perfectly. A $19 Filter is better than spending over $500 on a lens replacement.

This is a decent filter. It'll protect your lens and doesn't have any visible negative impacts to the photo image taken by camera.
