This is the second case made by the same manufacturer. They appear to be pricey, and I normally always look to buy the large heavy Otter Box cases bc I damage my phones w/out quite often. This case looks good, has kickstand on both holster and case itself, slim, and can sustain falls. Keeps screen safe...GREAT PRODUCT....except now I have to return it ONLY BC THE NOTE 7 RECALL!!!

The Galaxy Note 7 has a curved edge on both sides of the screen, this is a good case to have if you don't intend to use the edge feature on the Note 7. Basically the design issue is this...the left and right edge of the case "wrap" around the edges of the screen, and cover the edge panel (left or right side). It does offer good protection of the device. If you intend to use the edge on the Note 7, I do not recommend this case. Since I intend to use the edge, I have returned this item to the store, and will be trying a similar case from a different manufacturer, who's pictures online indicate that theirs does not have this design issue.

Quality and protection are great for the case. It does lack the following: - Screen protection - does not cover the screen. I did know this prior to purchasing, and getting such protection requires an even thicker case. I was going for slim. - Note7 usage - covers the 'edge' and makes it difficult to use on the edges. Overall, I purchased the case to protect the phone - which it does. Just wish there were more cases available.

Love having the kickstand on the case so you can watch videos or movies without holding or placing the phone against something

After mush consideration of all the products on the market, I decided that these were the best on the market. I made the best decision ever. I love it!

This review is so low because it defeats the purpose of having the edge feature. Although, the case was very protective, it was not a suitable case to access all the features. The case covered the entire phone. I returned this and had to buy a new case altogether.

This case is awesome and I drop everything. My screen didn't break and I've dropped this phone 2-3 times already. The case fits really snug on the phone. The only thing is that you are not able to use your edge since it's covered. I didn't have that issue because I don't use it. Awesome buy and worth the money.

The case feels good in the hand. Has 2 different stands. so you can sit it vertical or horizontal. Only drawback I have is that my screen protector doesn't quite fit with the case. And if you have any edge notifications they are covered by the case. But since side notes aren't necessary to use device I can live with it. Everything else is great!

I purchased this because I needed a case with a holster and thus brand has always proven good in the past. Well sadly the Note 7 is design is poor and the case covers up your edge functions as well as parts of the screen at times when in use.

tough like the one i had on another phone except this is for an edge type of note 7. so you cant really use or see them well. if they can modify this case a bit and still make it work it would be awesome. but its still did its job.

The fit and over all look was great. However, because the fit of this case was so exact it damaged the screen protector I purchased. So as long as you aren't planning on using a screen protector in conjunction with this case you'll be fine.

This phone case with holster provide great all around protection from scratches. Compared to otterbox, this is a great value and have an improved holster. I give this case 4 stars because what's missing is a built in screen protector. Overall I recommend this case.

I don't like this kind of cases. The kick stand is flimsy

I have to have a holster and I believe this was the only case with a holster that came out when the note 7 was released. I really liked the kick stand that is integrated in the case and the fact that this case didn't make my phone all big and bulky like the otter box defender does. I gave it 2 stars because it was made for the note 7 which has a little curve on the edges. This case actually covers the edges so you can not use the edge side panel. If platinum is going to make cases designed to be used with certain phone then that should design them so that you can use all the features of the phone

Great design for a phone without the curved edges. But the note 7 has a curved screen so using this case cancels that feature out. On the brightside the case is innovative and protects the phone so 3 stars
