Don't get me wrong... This is a great case. The finish is surprisingly durable and I love the matte black. It is VERY secure once on the phone (I had to YouTube how to get it off!) and the holster holds the phone securely but allows for very quick removal. The kickstand is a clever feature, but I've found that I almost never use it. Which brings me to my big complaint with the case... I had downloaded a compass app soon after getting my new phone (bundled with this kickstand case), but couldn't get it to calibrate. I had also noticed that the direction arrow that indicates which direction you are facing/direction of travel while in Google maps was ALWAYS pointing the same direction. Location in Google Maps was fine, though. After taking the phone in to AT&T (no help there) and doing some research online, I read the caution in the compass app about having the phone next to metal and/or magnets. I hadn't realized that THE MAGNET WAS ALREADY ATTACHED TO THE PHONE. Duh. This case uses a tiny magnet to hold the kickstand closed. So I took off the case and now all the magnetic sensor and compass functions work just fine. All things considered I love this case, but I would love one without the kickstand (and magnet) even more.

This case is worth buying again! it is great I always buy a case for my phones and this is by far the best one I have bought. It feels sturdy and solid. The phone slides in and clips very smoothly and easily every time. It stays tight as well it does not stretch or become loose over time because I have owned this for over 2 months now. If you want a perfect case that is made with quality grade material than this is the one for you. Buy it, use it and love it!!

If your looking for a thin, sleek, light case that looks great, then this is the case to get. It comes with a clip/holster as well as a kickstand built into the case and it also has cut outs for all the ports and buttons on the phone. One would think that the kickstand adds more weight and thickness to the case but it does not! I love this case. Feels great in the hand and slides easily in and out of your pocket unlike some Otterbox cases that get stuck as your trying to pull it out. Although this case probably won't protect it as well as an Otterbox case. Overall this is a beautiful case, great design, would definitely recommend to a friend.

phone fell out of my pocket 1x onto a rubber basketball court, landed on back of phone- the case part and screen cracked

PROS - very light form factor, fits my HTC One like a glove, makes it feel very nice in my hand, and I'm not concerned with it slipping out. - I like the kickstand feature, since the phone is a 1080P, it makes watching videos FANTASTIC! - The belt clip is very secure CONS - The case can be difficult to remove, I'll tell you how to do it below. I blame the manufacturer for not providing the instructions on removing it. - Some say the case does not allow the phone to lay flat. They are right, because the phone itself curves, so the case is just fitting the make of the phone. I say turn the phone on it's face, and it will lay flat. - Some say it won't provide drop-proof protection, that's not what this one was designed to do, if you feel that you need that, don't buy this case. I'm just saying. Here are the instructions to remove the Case, you will need to re-read and practice it before, you will learn that this procedure does work. How to Remove the Platinum HTC One Slide -on Case I have one and it isn't really that hard to take it off. There is a little bump on the bottom half of the case. The corresponding hole for the little bump/latch is on the upper half of the case. To have the 2 disengage, grip the lower half of the case with your dominant hand and press down firmly with your index finger on the area with the triangle. Next, with your other hand, firmly squeeze the sides of the upper half of the case near the middle of the case while simultaneously pulling up on the upper half then proceed to pull the two sides apart as well. Excellent case, protects the phone wonderfully and the added kickstand is a great feature. Who could have thought of that?!?! Amazing product.

Pros: Kickstand. Doesn't add bulk. Cons: Won't come off the phone after several attempts from several different people. I put this case on as soon as I got my phone a few months ago and it's still on only because I can't get it off! Also it's expensive as compared with other cases you can find online.

Not really sure the stand is needed as I really do not use it. Should a case option w/o the stand. I've literally only used the stand once since getting the phone the day it came out. Other that it's nice and the business look has been kept with it. I have noticed that I will need to take my phone to BB again to have the ZAGG Shield replaced because the cases hugs the phone tight enough that it's putting pressure on the upper corners of the shield and causing it to come up again. This is after the 48 hour wait period recommend by one of the phone techs that installed my shield the second time.

Love the kickstand... I use my device frequently to watch videos.

Even with a kick stand its not bulky so it fits in my pocket perfectly!

great solid protective case for my phone, would highly recommend

I bought this two days ago and just don't like the feel or design of it. Returning for a Otterbox Commuter until Best Buy carries the Double Flip Case.
