On first test with Sdxc C10 U3 SD card, i got a write speed of 80MB/s which i have not seen in a USB before. The read speed was so fast that the computer didnt have time to give a speed on a 3GB transfer. I've only used it once, so i dont know about durability. Highly satisfied with the speed. The ease of use is super nice.

Bought it when my computer’s I/O card, that included the SD card slot, died. I have two remaining USB slots on the other side of my laptop that is primarily used for photo processing. Raw image transfer directly from the camera via USB was a slow process so this turned out to be a great solution while I decide whether to repair or replace the laptop.

I had pulled a tiny memory card from my cell phone. Then the card mounted in the reader in a couple seconds. Next I inserted the reader in my laptop USB port, and finally, hundreds of photos were readable from there. Recommended
