I have always loved this movie, and watching it in HD is even better. The picture and sound quality is amazing. The cast is very good and there are a number of memorable scenes in this film. Definitely not for children under 16 years old.

This movie is classic and speaks for itself. It is great to see Charlie Sheen before he became a parody of himself. He brings it in this movie along with Dafoe and Berenger (his best role). The transfer is stunning on a 1080p set.

This is a older movie that I had previously seen, but my wife had not and I was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

One of the first, and definitely the best Vietnam war story. Captures the brutality and senseless of the horrible tragedy of war. Characters are put in real-life impossible situations and you feel like you're right there with them.

The great cast of this movie makes it compelling to watch and rewatch this film classic. It never fails to connect to you emotionally and reminds us of the impact of war on our soldiers.

I've watched this movie when I was a kid and I would always wanted it for the blue ray and I finally found it at best buy. Great for a movie night out with the family .

This is a very well made movie. I think and feel that this movie gives us a very good idea or glimpse into the things that could have happened in a war like the Vietnam war.

No war movie collection can be completed without Oliver Stone's Platoon and the steelbook gives it justice. A matte finish with a rifle and a helmet cover. Recommended.

The remaster of this is the best the film has ever looked on home media , highly recommend .

Platoon is a classic Vietnam movie. My daughter is now in the Army, so proud of her. I just hope she never has to serve in the field. This movie shows how the soldier goes from innocent to a soldier.

This video, Platoon, apply portrays how and why so many of our brave men and women came home with such devastating memories of the war.

So I review products. Movie works and can't beat the price these days on older movies. If you want reviews of the movie itself there's plenty out there, but it's one of the greatest of its time!

Platoon is the greatest war film of all time. Simple as that. The making of Platoon documentary is not on this though.
