AIM controller is by far the most precise fire arm of any kind I've ever played on a console. Looking forward for more games using it. Story is good but game is quite short, looking forward to DLC.

so reviews are decent for this game and bundle but no one really seems to love it. I haven't had a chance to sink into the multiplayer levels or challenge levels but I have completed the full campaign. the first hour or so is getting to know the controls and easing into the story then once the action starts to pick up it does not let up. it's a good 6 to 8 hours of play time especially if you die at all and you will die just getting used to the new enemies as they come about. the game is fantastic. I am looking forward to going through the campaign at least one more time and just see how fast I can get through, possibly even attempt a no death run which is possible if you are good. I also want to get into the mp coop mode because I hear great things. if you have VR this is a no brainer. if you are on the fence about the aim controller, don't be. it's great. it actually seems to alleviate nausea with the smooth motion plus aim controller which I have gotten from smooth motion before. buy this game now if you get the chance!

This game is pretty great, although I get dizzy playing it for more than 40 minutes at a time. It's best when played with the Aim controller, so don't bother buying or playing this without. With the Aim, this game is a 5 star hit. Pretty fun and the go to game when friends come over to see the PSVR.

This game with the aim controller is a ton of fun and really makes the PSVR shine. Highly recommended.

Let's start with the negative Honestly my only complaints with this game are: lack of subtitles, as a deaf person I would have liked to have enjoyed anything about the story behind this, and the fact that you can't jump or climb anything which makes some buttons on the Aim controller pointless for this game. Presumably, while using in later games they will serve a purpose. Coop limited to only two is kind of a downer as well. Positives The aim controller is extremely accurate making pointing and shooting very enjoyable. I look forward to doing this in other games because honestly I hate aiming with a thumbstick, which generally causes me to shy away from 1st person shooter games. Its very fun and challenging experience which keeps you wanting to continue and figure out how to get through large amounts of multiple enemies varying in size. Coop is difficult, even on easy, but that didn't stop a friend of mine and I from making our way through it entirely. It's good to play through the game first so you have weapons to select from and start coop with. Overall Huge thumbs up for the entertaining experience and game play. Thumbs down on leaving out the deaf community and lacking the simple abilities of being able to jump, climb or walk over some not all that large pieces of landscape. Hence my 4 of rating

The gun controler definitely make things much more immersive and the game is fun and look really good.

I really enjoy playing this VR game even with some of it's minor quirks. The ability to use the weapon sights and the fairly natural feel of aiming with the aim controller is practically spot on once you properly calibrate the controller to you and your settings. The only issue I've come across so far is that the weapon tends to lose it's orientation to the aim controller at times so I will have to go in and recalibrate it which doesn't take very long after you do it a few times. Also kudos to the designers of the aim controller, the pads and buttons feel natural (at least for me) so it took no time to orient myself with it. The game itself is very fun IMO blasting alien spiders and humanoids. The storyline can get a little lengthy with some of it's cut scenes but the action and AI is decent. Motion sickness was not an issue, believe the game developer assisted by minimizing side to side movement from what I noticed so far. For those with PSVR I highly recommend getting this bundle.

The game has you crash on a planet looking for your crew, blah blah, you fight alien bugs, fight more advanced alien beings. The Aim controller works very well, although I started to notice some drifting to the side after a while during long play sessions. Movement, you can move freely, slowly. Turn settings, you can have it snap turn in small increments or larger increments, you can have the turning be smooth, or you can set it to snap turn in the direction of your gun by clicking in one of the thumb sticks. For me, snap turns were more comfortable, smooth turns made me feel a bit dizzy but for my younger brother it's the other way around.

This game is the best use of vr and the aim controller. Really great and definitely worth it.

The game is very good. Good graphics, and story. It actually doesn't make you sick when you play, which is a first. The shooting is as 'fun' as call of duty. Not saying it's as good as COD. The controller makes all the difference. You are completely immersed. Without it it's just ok.

I didn't have the time to install each of the vr games on sample disc, but this stand alone game is awesome. Considering the quality of the gun and the game, this price is a steal!

I've only played Farpoint so far, but have purchased Doom VFR as well. With this accessory, I will tell you that I just got sucked into the immersion. It felt so natural to hold and shoot with the AIM that I completely forgot I was just holding a piece of plastic! I say plastic, but don't get me wrong, the build is phenomenal. It feels sturdy and there's a good weight to it! Great buy, I am not disappointed!

Farpoint is the most immersive game I have played on VR so far. The story is great along with the visuals. It all comes together with the aim controller that makes the game so much more realistic. I would recommend this to anyone who wants the play PSVR.

Bought this along with my PSVR Doom VFR Bundle when I saw some videos online for review of Doom. This Defiantly increased the PSVR immersion and made the game so much more fun. I tried playing the game with the standard PS4 controller and it just didn't feel the same. I also really enjoy Farpoint that came with it as well, feels like you are actually holding the gun. For advice though with one issue I had is you do need to raise the height of the camera to just slightly over your head height or PS4 camera will have a hard time tracking the headset and the Aim Controller separately. The gun would start drifting to the side in game, after I raised the height of the camera it seems to have solved the issue. This is defiantly an item I would recommend if you are looking to play First Person Shooters with your PSVR.

I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift and this game is amazing. The bundle package is worth it. My son couldn't handle it because of the movement but the shooting is intense. When I tried it my balls dropped and I almost fell several times. My son is use to it now but for us adults, we are quicker to learn then the kids. I recommend this bundle for any age.

This is always what I imagined the future would be like; total immersive experience where your real-life actions translate seamlessly into a video game. If I want to lean over to look around a rock, all I have to do is lean in real life. If I want to blind fire around a corner, all I have to do is stretch my arm out as if I am holding a real gun. Farpoint is a great game and the accessory is very comfortable and well-designed. However, this game is not for those who do poorly in VR as I am sure the disconnect of turning with the joystick on the Aim and turning your head will nauseate many. There are comfort options available to make that experience better but thankfully I don't have to use any of them. A great buy if you enjoy VR and a sure way to make you go from just enjoying your PS VR to loving your PS VR.

The Aim controller in conjunction with the PSVR create an incomparable immersive VR environment. You don’t need the graphics to be perfect (as is the case with PSVR) to get pulled in. This is a must have for PSVR owners, well worth the price. I have played the Aim with 4 games now and it elevates the gameplay experience of every single one of those titles.

This is a great bundle for the price. Farpoint is the best shooting game for VR so far. I love the aim controller. Makes the game really realistic.
